Magnafloc 5250 ®
Anionic floccul flocculant ant
Description
Magnafloc 5250 is manufactured by a new process route, incorporating UMA ® technology, which produces a product that combines the effects of both improved solids settling and compaction along with maximum clarity of top water. Magnafloc 5250 is a high molecular weight anionic polyacrylamide flocculant supplied as a free flowi ng granular powder.
Principal uses
Magnafloc 5250 has found application in a wide variety of mineral processing operations including the following: 1. 2. 3. 4.
Sedimentation of coal tailings Sedimentation of diamond slimes Mineral sands tailings thickening Base metal tailings thickening
Dosage depends on application but normally lies in the range 5 – 200 g /tonne of dry substrate fl occulated. Typical propertie s
