letter of Motivation

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing this µLetter of Motivation¶ to express my great interest in applying for entrance to the Master's Degree Program in Automotive Systems (ASM) at ³Hochschule Esslingen´ for the 2011 winter course. In June 2008 I was graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering degree with an expected average score above 7.52 CGPA. After acquiring good knowledge and experience in Automotive Embedded Systems from Robert Bosch and Kiona Software Solutions, I¶ve realized to make a good carrier in an automotive industry (especially in Model M odel Based Development of Automotive Systems). Why Automobile in Germany Germany is considered to be the birthplace of the automobile since German inventors, engineers and industrialists such as Robert Bosch, Daimler, Diesel, Wankel, and Benz helped shape modern automotive and transportation technology. Currently, six companies from the country dominate the automotive industry in the world: VW, Audi (owned by the Volkswagen Group), BMW, Daimler AG, Porsche and Opel. Nearly six million vehicles are produced in Germany each year, and approximately 5.5 million are produced overseas by German brands. The Chevrolet Volt and its Voltec Technology have been invented and developed first and foremost by the German Opel engineer Frank Weber and²still today²some of the most important parts of the development of GM's electric vehicles is done in Germany itself. This history of automotive technological innovation inspired me to choose Germany alongside the United States, China and Japan among the top 4 automobile manufacturers in the world. Why Hochschule Esslingen I want to study at Hochschule Esslingen because of your outstanding educational system, focus on gathering relevant work experience, and your excellent facilities. From speaking with students and professors from your university mainly ASM Program Manager Ms Ute Brinkmann, I am confident of my decision. "Master of Engineering in Automotive Systems" (ASM) offered at ³Hochschule Esslingen´ has all the things which I¶ve been looking for. Simulation and Control of Automotive Systems is my main focus area. Given my past history of commitment to excellence, I am confident that I will bring a high level of energy and enthusiasm to your program. I am sure to exceed your expectations, because of both my academic and interpersonal skills as well as the experience gained. Also Medium of instruction for my education till now was in English. Besides, I have completed A1 level German language course and currently pursuing A2 level. So I believe - both language skills make my communication easy to maintain good working relationships with individuals of different cultural backgrounds and will add more diversity to your program.
