BREAKING: LAS VEGAS SHOOTING TIMELINE SOLVED FOR SCANNER, BODY-CAM, AND SHOTS FIRED: MULTIPLE SHOOTERS INDICATED. Las Vegas law enforcement and the F.B.I. are providing an incorrect start time for the first volley of shots taken while Jason Aldean was still on stage. Originally, they gave 10:08 P.M. as the start, and then later changed it to 10:05, where it has remained until today. My research indicates that both of those times are wrong; the actual starting time of the first volley was 10:06:05 P.M. I believe this is accurate to within approximately one second. Additionally, I was also able to synchronize key events announced via the LVMPD emergency scanner to the body-cam footage, also to within approximately one second of accuracy. Having an accurate initial time-stamp lets you plot the start and finish time of all subsequent shot volleys and isolated single shots fired, as well as the gap times between them with the scanner dialogue, all in real time. Revisiting the tragic events of that horrific day in light of the accurate timeline yields compelling evidence of multiple shooters. I have prepared this report to assist LVMPD and the F.B.I., as they have requested help from the public regarding fact-finding. This post contains only verifiable facts, not theories. Before I explain my analysis so that you may cross check my findings for yourselves, I just want to thank the LVMPD and the other first responders for their bravery. I have watched all of the videos multiple times, and it was quite emotional and inspirational witnessing the courage of officers/medics/firemen who ran directly into the fire. Also, after watching all of the press conferences, I still believe in Sheriff Lombardo. I know there are now big problems with the way information has been released, or not, to the public. I know all of those issues well. Still, I believe in Sheriff Lombardo and that he will get to the truth. The subtle intricacies involved with the various moving parts made determining an accurate timeline extremely difficult. This was a tedious exercise made more trying by the unfortunate realization – already well into the process – that most of the LVMPD scanner audio files on Youtube have been edited to make the events appear in closer proximity than they truly happened. You must have the official Broadcastify scanner audio from their site (or the NPR stream), not the version on Youtube where many blocks of dead air were deleted with no warning given. Here is a list of what you need to establish the accurate timeline: 1. The official Axon Flex 2 body-cam footage released by LVMPD.
2. The Axon information page that explains the evidentiary details of the body-cam watermarks. 3. The Broadcastify Las Vegas Police emergency scanner audio file for October 1, 2017; starting at 10:02 P.M. 4. The video on Youtube that captures the entire shooting, from before the initial single shots through the first volley and well after the twelfth volley. It is in HD (720p); runtime 15:46. ANALYSIS The key to unlocking the timeline is the body-cam watermark. These cams were made by a company called Axon Enterprises, model name: AXON FLEX 2. Examine this image taken directly from the LVMPD body-cam footage:
The Axon information page (see image below) explains that – for evidentiary purposes - the cams read in UTC time (Universal Coordinated Time). More important though is the revelation that the watermark is not customizable to local time. This is why the date-stamped in the above image is October 2d. UTC time is shown, not Las Vegas time, which is seven hours behind UTC. Hence, the time stamp above – in Las Vegas – translates to 10:11:55 P.M. on October 1st, 2017. This should be dead on accurate, or Axon’s product would be seriously flawed. Axon is well respected, and their body-cam footage is used for evidence of exact time signatures in criminal trials.

I have used the watermark image above because the time stated is crucial to synchronizing the body-cam to the Police scanner. In the actual footage related to the image above, you can hear the Police scanner audio coming through the speaker of the pictured officer’s radio: “159, it’s coming from like the uh 50th or 60th floor, North of the Mandalay Bay! It’s coming out a window!” That ends at 10:05 in the scanner audio. In the body-cam footage, the officer pictured immediately repeats, “it’s coming out of a window”, to the other officers with him. Therefore, we can sync the scanner audio to the body-cam to know with certainty that the scanner quote above ends at 10:11:55 P.M. Next, we must sync the body-cam to the HD video mentioned above. That 15:46 length Youtube video shows the first volley happening at 3:51 in. The fifth volley
starts at 7:33 in the video, ending at 7:42. The fifth volley consists of three short runs of shots, rather than one long volley. The fifth volley is preceded – in that video – by five single shots. The last three occur at 6:53; 7:00; and 7:08 in the HD video. The body-cam footage shows officers responding while the last three single shots fired happen. The body-cam time stamps correspond to 10:09:08; 10:09:15; and 10:09:23. Those shots are followed by the fifth volley, which lasts from 10:09:47 – 10:09:56 in the body-cam footage. This corresponds to 7:33 – 7:42 in the HD video. Since the first volley happened at 3:51 in the HD video, the difference between 3:51 and 7:33 is 3:42. Since 7:33 in the HD video corresponds to 10:09:47 in real time, we go back 3:42 to get a real time first volley start at exactly 10:06:05. LVMPD and the F.B.I. have been providing an inaccurate starting time for the first volley. Now that we have the scanner, body-cam and HD video synced, we can determine that the twelfth volley lasted from 13:01 - 13:06 in the HD video, which corresponds to 10:15:17 – 10:15:20 in real time. No more volleys or shots fired are heard on the HD video after 13:06. And that video stops at 15:46. LVMPD and the F.B.I. have informed the public that the shots stopped at about 10:15 P.M. The exact stop time of that twelfth volley is actually 10:15:20. But there’s a very serious anomaly in the scanner audio. EVIDENCE OF A SECOND SHOOTER Since there were officers running between the 31st and 32d floor by 10:17 P.M. and earlier, we know that no shots were fired from that 32d floor location after 10:15:21. However, the scanner audio appears to change the facts offered by the official lone shooter version, because the audio confirms that an LVMPD officer reported directly taking fire approximately three and a half minutes after the twelfth volley ended at 10:15:20. At 18:07 – 18:15 in the scanner audio – which corresponds to 10:19:57 – 10:20:05 in real time, Officer 765 takes over the radio to announce the following: “Control, 765, I need the radio for a minute. Be advised we are taking fire from a very high floor. We believe it is possibly coming from the Mandalay Bay. Break. Any officer that responds here is going to be in plain site if he is going on the East side of Mandalay Bay. Every officer is going to be a target if they are driving on Las Vegas Boulevard because it is coming from the Mandalay Bay on the boulevard side.”
This transmission followed a prior transmission less than one minute earlier by another officer who reported, “It’s been a while since we heard any shots. Does anybody have eyes on the shooter?” This was immediately followed by another officer insisting that fellow officers should send people West, instead of East. Seconds later, the officer using call sign 765 took over the radio channel to announce that he and others were still taking fire, and he warned that officers heading East would be targets for the shooter. This transmission by the officer using call sign 765 - stating they were still taking fire - was broadcast three minutes and thirty-seven seconds after the shooting stopped according to the official LVMPD/FBI timeline.
