Albeit for this C S Patel Manuscript Centric Issue, we have dropped all regular sections to accommodate the manuscripts translations done by earnest scholars. This section will be presented as readers are eagerly waiting for remedies from a long time. In this case, I would specifically like to study a time period around 38th year of his age, i.e. just year 2003 (as exact date of start of mental problems is not quoted in the query) as quoted by him, during which he suffered from mental problems and from that time till date (…looking for some job or business). Which palm lines suggest about strength of various planets? (With reference to lal kitab) There are some points, which I have marked by encircling some area on the palm which speaks a lot about the strength of some planets; these can be correlated with planets while reading the Horoscope as well. 772

On the right hand palm, from the beginning of the heart line, there are many downward moving branches, which run up to a length of an approximate age of 38 years, this confirms the position of the planet Moon being very weak and during this period, the native will have to face some emotional set backs, which appears to be a continuous process. At the age of approximate 38 years of native, just below the Mount of Sun, a break appears in the Heart Line. This is an indication of serious ill influence by the planet Moon, which disturbs the native at an emotional plane, which at a later stage transfers its effects to the mental plane (represented by the planet Mercury). At the point encircled and marked No 3, there appears a break and a cross, from within the break on the head line and the cross a fine line moves towards the Saturn Finger (Long Finger) which indicates about the weakness of the planet Mercury and the line towards the Mount of Saturn displays some ill influence at this time by the Planet Saturn. After this break in Head Line, it’s further stream stands adversely affected and this line appears to be followed by an axe line (kuthar rekha), which represents its effects just equal to an Island formation (confusion in making decision due to duality of thoughts, while making any decision) and confirms further influence of planet Mercury to be read as weak for future readings from Horoscope. In both hands, presence of a broken Girdle of Venus, which crosses the mounts of Saturn and that of Sun, thus renders their influence weak. This line also cuts the Line of Sun and reduces its strength. This also adds to emotional sensitiveness and Venus in such hands generally gives negative effects. Analysis of area concerning Life Line - it is also a weak line which tells about the weak constitution and is not capable of giving a smooth life pattern. Mount of Mars is depressed and is covered by a number of lines, which renders planet Mars as a weak planet. Fate line too is cut down by a cross line at the age of 38 years, after which it is not clear in your palm shot, where as the line of Sun can be traced after this period.
Planets in horoscope: 1) Planet Sun is placed in the 12th house, which is associated with Saturn in Navamsha Chart and is at 23 degree. This placement of 2nd lord in the 12th house is a negative point, which will affect the native’s financial position and add to unwanted expenses of his savings and earnings (because Venus the 11th lord of the Chalit chart Is placed in the 2nd house in Leo) 2) Planet Moon is placed in 5th house and is in association with its permanent enemy Ketu, which generally eclipses Moon and at the same time, it is also in its debilitation sign i.e. in Scorpio. When, ascendant lord is very weak and is under malefic influence through aspect of 8th lord, Saturn renders natives live a struggling life, make a note of this rule. 3) Mars in this chart appears to be a bit powerful due to its good position in Navamsha Chart, but it’s placement in 3rd house (6th from 10th house) in basic horoscope renders it as a trouble creating planet regarding career. 4) Mercury is also not a good planet for natives with Cancer ascendant, because of its inimical relations with Moon. Mercury is also the lord of 3rd and 12th house. Mercury is also associated with Ketu in Navamsha Chart. 5) Jupiter is placed in 11th house in association with Rahu, which turns Jupiter to a silent spectator hence makes Jupiter ineffective. 6) Venus, which is supposed to be a beneficial planet for Cancer Ascendant, is also receiving ill influences from Rahu, which is occupying it`s sign Taurus (because Rahu and Ketu give their influence through that planet, in whose sign they get placed). In the Navamsha Chart, Venus is also associated with Ketu. 7) Saturn is placed in the 8th house as 8th house lord, and aspects Moon the ascendant lord, which adds negative influence by affecting Moon. Relation of Rahu and Ketu’s stand is already explained in above quoted planetary positions. 773
Transit of planet Saturn during 2003: On 01/01/2003, Saturn was at 0.30 degree in Gemini and on 31/12/2003, it was at 15.52 degree in the same sign. This placement was in 12th sign from Ascendant, where Sun is placed which is also the 8th sign from the Moon. All health related problems were caused due to the ill transit of Saturn the 8th lord, transiting the planet Sun, which is placed in the 8th from the Ascendant lord Moon. It is said that when Saturn transits 8th house from Moon, it creates trouble just equal to death (serious health trouble) or imprisonment to the native.
Suggested Remedies: 1) Donate rice / milk on Monday; try to get blessings from seniors by paying respect to elderly persons. 2) Wear a white pearl in right hand ring finger. 3) Donate green millet (SABUT MOONG) on Wednesday. 4) Make it a habit to clean your teeth with water first, as and when you rise early in morning. 5) Avoid losing temper and develop a balanced nature in behaviour with every one. 6) Reference Sun line – even after this period of trouble, it indicates that although you are hard working, but due to the absence of a clear Fate line and island formation in the Head line you feel confused in taking any decision in selecting a proper path in your life (regarding career). Try to fix your mind in a single direction and you can become a good healer. 7) Avoid wearing black color clothes and refrain from alcoholic drinks. 8) Place common salt and green millet in two earthen pots separately in your bed room. 9) Good moral character is must for those, in whose hands; Sun line is cut / crossed by presence of Girdle of Venus, if they want to derive full results from Sun Line.

Sh. Chiranjilal Purohit Ji has asked only about his Ketu Mahadasha period, but I will discuss some other aspects of this horoscope, which will throw some light regarding to health related field. In the birth chart Ketu is placed in the Ascendant in association with Venus and Jupiter. 1st house lord, Sun is placed in the 12th house along with planet Mercury (lord of 2nd house), but in Nirayana Chalit Chart, Ketu is placed in the 12th house along with Sun and Mercury. The second combination which is of worth mentioning in this chart is that of planet Moon and Saturn, which are placed in the 6th house. The current transit of Saturn is in Virgo. In the Ashtakavarga tables, Saturn had received ZERO benefic aspect, thus the transit of Saturn in this sign will give malefic effects. 777
According to LAL KITAB system of prediction, in the current year annual chart, all the four house in centre of horoscope i.e. 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th house are lying vacant and Rahu is placed in 8th house, for which some specific remedy of Rahu is required to be performed.
