Iti Hayamukhageetam Stotra Raajam Nisamya Pragalita Kalushobhooch Chitta Paryaapti Maetya Nijaguru Matha NatvaaKumbha Janmaa Taduktaehae Punaradhika Rahasyam Jnaatumaevam Jagaada. Hearing this sacred stotra from his Guru, sage Agasthya’s mind was highly satisfied and wanted to get more knowledge about this secretive and divine mantra. Agasthya Uvaacha —―Agasthya says‖ 6 & 7. Asvanana Mahaabhaaga Rahasyamapi Mae Vada Siva Varnaani Kaanyatra Shakthi Varnaani Kaani Hi Ubhayorapi Varnaani Kaani Mae Vada Daesika Iti Prushtah Kumbhajaena Hayagreevo Vadat Punaha. Sage Agasthya tell ―Oh! Lord Hayagreeva, the lucky one, in what you have explained to me, help me to distinguish between the the Aksharas(letters) of Siva and shakthi. Hayagreeva Uvaacha—— 8. Tava Gopyam Kimasteeha Saakshaadambaanu Saasanaat Idam Tvati Rahasyam Tae Vakshyaami Srunu Kumbhaja. Lord Hayagreeva replies, “Oh! Kumbha Muni there is nothing to hide from you. Devi herself appeared in person and ordained me to reveal it to you. I shall now reveal the ancient secret to you”. 9.Yaetad Vignyaana Maatraena Sreevidyaa Siddhidaa Bhavaet Katrayam Hadvayam Chaiva Saivo Bhaagaf Prakeertitaha Saktyaksharaani Shaeshani Hreenkaara Ubhayaatmakaha. Out of the three hundred names, the i nitial letters follow the order of Panchadasi mantra which has the five masculine letters Siva-varnani, the three Ka’s and the two Ha’s, all the other remaining letters excepting Hreem are the Saktyaksharani, which are feminine l etters. The letter Hreem, which is the embodiment of both of them, was told by Kameshwara and Kameshwari. The purpose of srividya will be fulfilled only after knowing the above difference. 10. Yaevam Vibhaagam Ajnaatvaa Sreevidya Japasaalinaha Na Taeshaam Siddhidaa Vidyaa Kalpakoti Satairapi. Those who do not know this secret and the difference between the letters of Siva and Sakthi will not get the power even if recited crores of times. 11. Chaturbhis Sivacharaischa Sakthichakraischa Panchabhihi Navachakrais Cha Samsiddhim Sreechakram Sivayorvapuhu. The four chakras of Siva and the five chakras of shakthi become the nine chakras. The Srichakra is the body of Siva and Shakthi. 12. Trikonam Ashtakonam Cha Dasa Kona Dvayam Tathaa Chaturdasaaram Chaitaani Saktichakraani Panchacha. The circles of Shakthi encapsulate the triangle, eight triangles, underlying ten triangles, outer ten triangles and the fourteen triangles. (Total – 43 triangles ) 13. Bindus Chaashta Dalam Padmam Padmam Shodasa Patrakam
Chaturashram Cha Chatvaari Sivachakraan Yanukramaath. The Siva chakra embodies Bindu, the eight petalled lotus, the sixteen petalled lotus, including the squares.
14. Trikonae Baindavam Slishtam Ashtaarae Ashtadalaambujam Dasaarayosh Shodasaaram Bhoopuram Bhuvanaasrakae. Trikona Roopinee Saktir Bindu Roopas Sivas Smrutaha Avinaabhava Sambandhaha Tasmaat Bindu Trikonayoho. Kameshwari shakthi is in the form of triangle and Lord Siva i s in the form of Bindu. The triangle and the bindu are connected with Avinaabhava (inter connection) relationship. 17. Yaevam Vibhaagamajnaatvaa Sreechakram Yassamarchayeat Na Tatphala Mavaapnoti Lalitaambaa Na Tushyati. Those who do the Srichakra pooja without knowing the Avinaabhava relationship will not be benefitted. Devi will not be happy. 18. Yae Cha Jaananti Lokaesmin Sreevidyaa Chakravaedinaha Saamaanya Vaedinas Tae Vai Visaeshajnoti Durlabhaha. Those who do not know about this relationship will not know about Sreevidya upasana and Srichakra pooja well. Most of the people know about i t generally but very few people know about the intricate facts.
19. Svayam Vidyaa Visaeshajno Visaeshajnam Samarchayaet Tasmai Daeyam Tato Graahyam Sreevidyaa Chakravaedinaa. Only few people know about Srichakra pooja and Srividya upasana. They should be worshipped. Charity should be done to people who know about Srividya upasana and Srichakra pooja. Receiving something as charity from Srividya upasakas hands will also do us utmost good. 20. Andhamtamaf Pravisanti Yae Hyavidyaamupaasatae Iti Srutirapaahaitaan Avidyopaasakaan Punaha Avidyaanupaasakaanaeva Nindatyaarunikee Srutihi. Those who follow the path of ignorance are doomed into darkness. Vedas condemn people who are not in to Srividya upasana and encourages people who are Srividya upasakas. Aaruniki Shruthi also criticizes them. 21 & 22. Asrutaasas Srutaasas Cha Yajvaano Yaepyayajvanaha Svaryanto Naapaekshanta Indramagnim Cha Yae Vidyhu. Sikata Iva Samyanti Rasmibhis Samudeeritaahaa Sree vidya pooja can be done by people who are educated and uneducated, those who perform the yajnas and also by those people who do not perform the yajnas. Iti Tantraeshu Bahudhaa Vidyaayaa Mahimochyatae Mokshaika Haetu vidyaa Tu Sreevidyaiva na Samsayaha.
In Tantra and mantra shastras the greatness of Srividya is eulogized. Srividya is the only way to attain moksha. There is no doubt i n this. 25. Na Silpaadi Jnaana Yuktae Vidvachchabdaf prayujyatae Mokshaika Haetu Vidyaa Saa Sreevidyaiva Na Samsayaha. Yah Keertayaet Sakrud Bhaktyaa Divyam Naamnaam Satatrayam Tasya Punyaphalam Vakshyae Vistaraena Ghatodbhava. Now I shall tell you the benefits of these three hundred holy names when recited even once with reverence. 30. Rahasya Naama Saahasra Paathae Yatphala Meeritam Tat koti Koti Gunitam Yaeka Naama Japaad Bhavaet.
The recitation of a single nama of Trisathi i s more effective and powerful than the recitation of the sahasranama crores of times. 31. Kaamaesvaraabhyaam Tadidam Krutam Naama Satatrayam Naanyaena Talayae Daetat Stotraenaanya Krutaena Tu. The sacred Trisathi stotram is recited by Kameswari and kameswara and it can never be equal to any other stotram composed by others. 32. Sriyaf Paramparaa Yasya Bhaavinee Toottarottram Taenaiva Labhyatae naamnaam Trisatee sarva Kaamadaa. The Trisathi is obtained by people only by those families who would attain prosperity in future generations. 33. Asyaa Naamnaam Trisatyaastu Mahimaa Kaena Varnyatae Yaa Svayam Sivayor Vaktra Padmaabhyaam Parinisruta. Who can describe the efficacy of the holy and sacred stotra coming out from the l otus mouth of the Divine couple? 34. Nityaa Shodasikaaroopaan Vipraanaadou tu Phojayaet Abhyaktaan Gandhatailaena Snaataanushnaena Vaarinaa. The sixteen Srividya upasakas should be considered as the sixteen Nithya devi’s, and shou ld be anointed with perfumed oil with fragrant haebal, powder and given head bath with hot water. 35. Abhyarchya vastra Gandhaadyaihi Kaamasevaryaadi naamabhihi Apoopais Sarkaraajyais Cha Phalaif Pushpais Sugandhibihi. Anoint the sixteen nithya devi’s including the mahanithya Kameswari with sandal paste and adorn them with fine clothing. Then invite the nithya devi’s and perform the archana to them, offering appam, sugar, ghee and fruits. Offer them the food having all the six tastes. 36. Vidyaavido Visaeshaena Bhojayaet Shodasa Dvijaan
Yaevam Nityaa Balim Kuryaat Aadou Braahmana Bhojanae. The Srividya upasakas should feed the sixteen Brahmanas with a feast. Before feeding them, the sixteen nithya devi’s (they should also be Srividya upasakas) should be worshipped. Paschaat Trisatyaa naamnaam Tu Braahmanaan Kramasorchayaet Tailaabhyangaadikam Dadyaat Vibhavae Sati Bhaktitaha. If the family is prosperous then three hundred Srividya upasakas can be invited, fragrant oil is given for their bath, archana is done to them with three hundred holy names and then a sumptuous feast is given to them with all the six tastes. 38. Sukla Pratipadaarabhya Pournamaasyavadhi Kramaat Divasae Divasae Vipraahaa Bhojyaa Vimsati Sankhyayaa. Rahasyanaama Saahasraihi Archanaep Yaevamaeva hi Aadou Nityaabalim Kuryaat Paschaad Braahmana Bhojanam.
Similarly, the secretive Sahasranama archana should be done to the sixteen Nithya Devi’s, sixteen Brahmins should be fed and then a feast should be given to thousand Brahmins. 42. Rahasya Naama Saahasra Mahimaa yo Mayoditaha Saseekaraanuratraika Naamno Mahima Vaaridhaehae. Whatever benefits we get from reciting the thousand names of the Goddess are like a droplet in an ocean compared to reciting one name of Trisathi. 43. Vaagdevee Rachitae Nama Saahasrae Yadyadeeraitam Tattat Phala Mavaapnoti Naamnopyaekasya Keertanaat. The recitation of even one name among the three hundred names has more power and is more effective than the thousand names told by Vagdevathas. 44. Yaetadanyair Japais Stotraihi Archanair Yatphalam Bhavaet Tatphalam Koti Gunitam Bhavaen Naama Sata Trayaat. Rahasya Nama Saahasra Kotyaavrutyaastu yatphalam Tadbhavaet Koti Gunitam Naama Trisata Keertanaat. The effect of reading the Lalitha Sahasranama crores of times is equal to reading the Trisathi just one time. 46. Vaagdevee Rachitae Stotrae Taadruso Mahimaa Yadi Saakshaat Kaamaesa Kaamaesee Krutaesmin Gruhyataamiti. Just imagine! The repetition of the three hundred names of Trisathi is more effective than the repetition of the names sahasranama crores of times because, the former is told by Lord Kameshwara and Goddess kameshwari and the later is told by Vagdevathas at the command of Lalithambika. 47. Sakrut Sankeertanaadeva Naamnaamasmin Satatrayae
Bhavaech Chittasya Paryaaptir Noonamanyaa Napaekshinee. When the chanting of Trisathi is done even once, we get rid of our desires and it gives us the peace of mind. 48. Tasmaat Kumbhodbhava Munae Keertaya Tvamidam Sadaa Aparam Kinchidapi Tae Boddhavyam Naavasishyanti. So, Kumbha Muni recite this Stotra always and there is nothing more to tell you. 55. Iti Tae Kathitam Stotram Lalitaa Preetidaayakam Naavidyaa Vaedinae Brooyaaan Naabhaktaaya Kadaachanaa. This Stotram which pleases Goddess Lalithambika so much should not be revealed to those who are not the Srividya upasakas and never to the people who do not have bhakthi. 56. Nashathaaya Na Dushtaaya Naa Visvaasaaya Karhichit Yo Brooyat Trisatee Naannaam Tasyaanartho Mahaan Bhavaet Ityajnaa Saankaree Proktaa Tasmaad Gopyamidam Tvayaa. This Stotra should not be revealed to those people who are ignorant, wicked and who have no faith and devotion. When revealed to such people, the people who revealed will incur the wrath of the Goddess. Goddess Lalithambika will give them a great disaster in their life time. This is her order. So, you have to keep it in secrecy 57. Lalitaa Praeritaenaiva Mayoktam Stotramuttamam Rahasyanaama Saahasraat Ati Gopya Midam Munae. The secret Stotra is ordained by Lalithambika to be gi ven to you. So, you should keep it in more secrecy than the Sahasranamam. 58. Yaevamuktavaa Hayagreevaha
Kumbhajam Taapasottamam Stotraenaanaena Lalitaam Stutvaa Tripura Sundareem Aananda Laharee Magna Maanasas Samavartata.
