It says that the marriage is made in the heavens. Accordingly it is a wonderful story in most of the married persons that how they met, carried on and tie the knot. In our Eastern culture, most of the marriages are arranged by the parents by matching the horoscopes and with the other agreements, they say I do. In some cases, no matching of birth charts or any other needs are considered, but love at first sight makes the couple to get together and live happily. Or else by meeting at a party or any such place, they consent for marriage, whether the horoscopes are matched or not, they happily live together. In the Eastern system of astrology, we have a number of methods and laws for checking about the compatibility for marriage. Mainly the seventh bhava of the birth chart indicates the nature of marriage and all the other details such as the method of meeting, nature of the partner, longevity etc. regarding the marriage. he Lagna bhava shows the characteristics of the native and his capabilities etc. The seventh bhava, which is the opposite of lagna, shows about the partners in marriage or in business or opponents also. Any one dealing with the native is shown in the seventh bhava. he seventh bhava is on the exact opposite of the lagna bhava, Therefore if the lagna bhava is rectified, we know that the seventh bhava also get rectified automatically. When the birth chart is analysed for marriage, we see that the seventh bahva for identification of the partner. Second bhava for the development or increase of the family by marriage and by eleventh bhava, the expectation or the fulfilment of the desire. In Krishnamurthi Paddhathi, profound by the late Guruji KSK, we give a very important place to the seventh bhava sputa and its lords as sign, star and sub in the consideration of the marriage. The sub lord is the deciding factor. If the sub lord of the seventh cusp is a significator for the second or seventh or eleventh bahavas, the native is destined to get married.

In these two birth charts we see that the ascendant of the male is in conjunction with Fortuna of the female, in Sagittarius. And again the ascendant of the female is in conjunction with Fortuna of the male. So they are fortunate to each other as husband and wife. Again the Ruling Planets at the time of birth of these two persons are Jupiter, Moon. Saturn, Venus, Rahu. This is a very lucky combination, which we have noted in a large number of birth charts of couples. This note is to review w hich one is the KP horary analysis out of using the horary nu mbers 1-108, 1-249, 1-2193 and time chart. D ivision of the Zodiac into 108, 249, 219 3 Parts 2. For the horary numbers 1-108, th e zodiac is divided into 108 equal parts, 360° /108 = 3 ° 20', i.e. 27 stars mu ltiplied by 4 quarters, and on e part is equal to one pada of a star, 3° 20' . 3. For the horary numbers 1-249 subs, the zodiac is divided into 27 equal parts of stars, and the area of each star, i.e. 13° 20, is further divided by nine unequal subs in proportion of the numbers of years allotted to each planet to the total number of years o f the V imshottar i dasa sy stem , i.e. 120 years. (27 x 9 = 24 3 plus overlapping 6 equal to 249 subs) 4. For the horary numbers 1-2193, the subs are further divided into nine unequal sub subs in the similar proportion of the Vimshottari dasa system above. This factor also has contributed for denial of marriage. At the marriageable age of the native, the dasas runnings were Mars and Rahu who contributed for the denial of the native’s marriage. Question: Is craze for the old issues of the Astrology & Athrishta worthy? In the old Astrology & Athrishta, January to December 1967 monthly issues, it has been read that: 1) 2) 3) 4)

All articles say to check Lagna and Moon, which is stronger; No sub lord analysis at all; No significator table at all; No 1-249 sub number but 1-108 number is used.

Nothing seems as per KP in the KP six Readers. Can you tell when the sub number 1-249 and sub checking were started? In my opinion craze for old issues of A & A is not worthy. Answer 1. Checking Lagna and Moon, which is stronger 1. In the Krishnamurti Padhdhati, 2 volumes set, first edition, was published in late 1966 by Sagar Publications. In the volume 2, out of many solved examples, in some examples like in pp 82, 118, 255, 261-262, 264, 313, 316, it was ascertained whether Lagna is strong or the Moon sign, and the Moon sign was taken as the first house in the two examples of pp 118 and 264. It is therefore to check Lagna and Moon, which is stronger. Horary Number within 108 and within 249 Guruji KSK began using only 108 (Star padas) for Horary astrology and not 249 for Subs, as per given results of Horary no. 16 (out of 108), by analysis of signs and stars only and not subs, under the topic “Theft and Recovery” in the Krishnamurti Padhdhati Vol. 2, 1966, pp 123-129 (reprinted in KP Reader III, Practical Part, 1971, pp 62-67, / KP Reader III, New Edition, pp 219-225). Also in the newly written KP Reader VI: Horary book, first published in 1970, i.e. not based on materials of the Krishnamurti Padhdhati 2 Volumes, 1966, as the zodiac is divided into 108 equal parts 27 stars multiplied by 4 quarters and the number mentioned is 80. (pp 237-239); For 78 (out of 108), we get 16:40 Dhanus to 20 Dhanus is not the same fro 78 (out of 249) in p 92. A chance is given to the astrologer to find ou from number 78 within 108 and 237 within 249 and enjoy as the same result is obtained. This mysterious agreement can be found only in this Divine Science practiced by intelligent astrologers making honest attempts with open mind. (p 231) But later since around 1969 Guruji changed the number between 108 to a more scientific and logical between 249 Subs, according to the solved example horary charts on pp 242-244 for 13-08-1969, pp 269-270 for 17-02-1969 with explanation, pp 278-283 for 11-05-1969, pp 284-285 for 21-09-1968, p 287 for 07-1969, p 290 for 10-1969, p 292 for 08-1969. . The point to be noted is to use the sign and star analysis for a horary number between 108 star padas, the sub analysis for a number between 249 subs and the sub sub analysis for a number between 2193 sub subs in a consistent approach. This 6-volume set of books is a beginner's guide to the Krishnamurti Padhdhati astrology, explaining with numerous solved examples. Volume 1 to 4 (first half) have been devoted to the fundamentals and basic calculations of astrology, as shown by the contents. The dual signs, Gemini, Sagittarius and Pisces are explained as double-bodied signs.
