IT depreciation configuration in SAP R/3 Step -1: Activate Business functions through SPRO

Step -2: Select EA-FIN (Financials extension) and then click on planned status

After that click on act activate ivate changes and the enterprise extension is activated. After that activate following

Step -3: After clicking on Activate Country-Specific Data press F4 on the table name and following box appears. Click on Active button.

Step -4: Click on Specify tab layout for Asset Master Record

Step - 7: Copy standard layout of SAP (Standard tab layout) and assign a suitable name and description: In our case ZGIN and Standard Layout for India resp.

Step - 8: Rearrange the tab page titles according to business scenario and add an additional tab as “India Specific data.

Step – 11: Assign Group box S0400 to “India Specific Layout” tab.

Step – 12: Then go to Assign Tab Layouts to Asset Classes tab.

Step – 13: Select each asset class individually and replace “standard tab layout “with “Standard layout for India”.

Step – 14: Then go to Assignment of Layout tab to chart of depreciation and assign the chart of depreciation to the replaced assignment.

Step – 15: Assign transaction types used in business scenarios to transaction type groups defaulted.

Step – 16: Maintain Tax depreciation Area

Maintain Chart of depreciation for Income tax

Step - 17: Maintain asset block details:

Step – 18: Maintain country currency in view V_T005A in SM30 if not maintained.
