Analysis of IRNSS Over Indian SubcontinentFull description
this paper gives a step-by-step of the design, simulation and measurement of a Power Amplifier (PA) operating frequency from 2.5GHz to 4.5GHz. The design of Class a Power amplifier was performed in...
IRNSS stands for Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System.
The Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS) is an autonomous regional satellite navigation system being developed by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) which would be under complete control of the Indian government
What IRNSS would do?
It would determine accurately the !NT "ie" position" navigation and time of an ob#ect
The IRNSS would provide two services" with the Standard !ositioning Service open for civilian use" and the Restricted Service (an encrypted one) for authorized users (including the military)
In other words" the satellites will behave similar to $lobal !ositioning System ($!S) or $%ON&SS
How?
IRNSS would have seven satellites" out of which four are already placed in orbit The satellites are named as
IRNSS'&
IRNSS'
IRNSS'*
IRNSS'+
IRNSS',
IRNSS'-
IRNSS'$
The constellation of seven satellites is e.pected to operate from /01 onwards
IRNSS Constellation
IRNSS-1A is the first navigational satellite in the IRNSS series of satellites been placed in geostationary orbit on 2uly /03 using !S%4'*//
IRNSS-1B is the second navigational satellite in the IRNSS series of satellites been placed in geostationary orbit on 5 &pril /05 using !S%4'*/5
IRNSS-1C is the third navigational satellite in the IRNSS series of satellites been placed in geosynchronous orbit on 6 October /05 by using !S%4'*/1
IRNSS-1D is the fourth navigational satellite in the IRNSS series of satellites been placed in geostationary orbit on /7 8arch /06 using !S%4'*/9
IRNSS-1 fifth satellite of the constellation" will be placed in geosynchronous orbit possibly during &ugust /06
IRNSS-1! si.th satellite of the constellation" will be placed in geosynchronous orbit possibly during +ecember /06
IRNSS-1" seventh satellite of the constellation" will be placed in geosynchronous orbit possibly in early /01
