Chapter 1 Introduction Candles are used in many purposes. Its primary purpose is to give light. It is also use in home decoration. Whenever there are processions in fiestas and baptismal rites, candles is also use. It is also use when there is brownout. Candles are also use in Jewish Holiday called Hanukkah. It is also part of Christmas holiday because candles represent Jesus as the light of the world.

Statement of the Problem Is the used cooking oil effective in making candles?

Definition of terms Cooking oil is widely used in our country. They are used in frying meat,fish and many others.

Chapter 2 Review of Related Literature We read some articles about alternative materials in making candles. Most of it is the used cooking oil.
