BECAUSE IN their original form they are not?  Vaccines coniaining polypeptide capsule such as (meningococcal vaccine, Pneumovax, H influenza type B are commonly conjugated protein to promote T HELPER cell activation, switching and FORMATION OF IMMUNOLOGIC MEMORY  We want to conjugate organisms with proteins so develop memory against them. In order to do so we need to take oraganism which is (conjugated polysaccharide) which is T independent and as soon as we add a protein to it, the polysaccharide protein combo will become T dependent thus memory can take place in the future   


