INTRODUCTION The purpose of this system is to distribute voltage vehicles. Total voltage of 12 volts from the battery through the main loop to the extent of 40,000 volts through the secondary coil to the spark plugs via high-voltage cable. This is to sprinkle the fire could jump between the positive electrode and the ground electrode to ignite the fuel and air mixture in the combustion chamber 'combustion chamber engine at a certain time
Ignition systems play an important role in an engine in terms of power, economy, and emission control. Ignition system must produce high-voltage electrical current to the cylinder firing order of the right. These systems require different types of maintenance includin g replacing damaged components such as replacing spark plugs, contact points, distributor cap and distributor servicing the inside of the cap so that
engine power is at a maximum. For engines fitted with contact points, the co ntact point distance determines acceleration capabilities and operation of a v ehicle.
Electronic ignition systems are not immune to the damage. This also requires adequate work and ongoing maintenance with equipment such as engine analyzers, tako meters and timing lights 'timing light'.
OBJECTIVE I learned the system objective is to find the spark plug means servicing and change the spark plug .. moreover, I will learn to identify problems that often occur in the ignition system is as follows: -
1: No spark at the contact point. 2: Loop fast ignition hot and the engine is not operating with the norm or sudden death. 3; works through three-cylinder engine or less.

PROCEDURE Identify system equipment flame Ada two kind of system flame that most vehicle use namely DI(distributor less ignition system) and COS (coil over spark plug) do not have wire spark plug. System flame that will be be lighted willways service ialan DI type(distributor less ignition system).
1.Take
out spark plug (retainer clip) wire clip
2.Take
out spark plug wire clip. This to facilitate work to produce wirespark plug from spark plug.
3.Take
out wire spark plug
Take out wire spark plug from spark plug, make sure take out followsequence, spark plug wire that longest is in numbered piston 1 while that shortest in numbered piston 4. Take out wire spark plug also from distributor mark, before produceher, make sure us know firing order engine. Enijn sequencedistribution is 1-3-4-2. piston that is close with timing belt is number 1 and followed 2,3 ,dan 4. In distributor mark there is sequence distribution, make sure us knowsequence distribution in distributor. This is important because to ensure no mistake which occurred when reinstall wire spark p lug.
4.Distributor mark
After issuing spark plug wire, check and ensure spark plug wire in good condition, should occur defect in wire spark plug replacementwith that new. Arrange according to long wire spark plug. Thisfacilitate us when want to install her again.
5.Take
out spark plug
Use hand properties that is suitable, use spana spark plug or socketspark plug to produce spark plug. Open anticlockwise (counter clockwise)

Check spark plug
After issuing spark plug, check spark plug whether can be used more or not, if still can be used further holy or wash spark plug by usingpetrol, wire brush and sandpaper but only usual kind of damage likeplug bercarbon, dusty and wet. Use filler gauge to check gap in spark plug. Gap that nice is 0.8 cm or 0.35 inch.

7.Reassemble spark plug
Reassemble spark plug, make sure on spark plug not too tightdikuatiri spark plug will damage if fitted tightly. Make sure wire spark plug installed correctly. Before starting engine check radiator and enijn oil.

Oily Plug (Oil fouled)
Too much oil entering the combustion chamber (combustion chamber). This occurs because the piston rings or cylinder walls are damaged. Oil also can get into the combustion chamber due to some small space (clearance) in the valve guides.How To Overcome: Sacred or spark plug washer with gasoline, brush and sand paper Explosion (DetoNation)
Abnormal combustion can cause the plug core insulator is cracked or broken. This explosion is adding stress on the engine components. Plugs are damaged and need to be changed. Voltage to produce a spark produced is approximately doubled and will increase if traveling far done. If this condition occurs, the engine is rapid. Not bad for engine performance and fuel consumption that much will happen.Way around: Replace new spark plug.
