-To begin learning astrology one should begin with basic books. Also it will be a very good idea to start learning in some one's guidance or through a proper course from a renowned institute if you have time as lot of institutes provide weekend classes. There are three main organisations i know of AIFAS,AICAS and bhartiy avidya bhavan who have a very good and proper course designes in four levels. As astrology is a very deep subject ,one need to start slowly and focus rather than taking dips in the entire ocean.

in the process of being rebor n. Another name for Astrology is Jyothishya. According to western interpretations, Astrology is derived from Aster meaning a star and Logos meaning reason or logic. Astrology is a science which interprets the gove rnance of earthly beings by the celestial bodies . Astrology has nothing whatsover to do with Fatalism or wichcraft. From time immemorial, man has been watching the movements of the sun, moon, the planets and the stars. This system is commonly known as solar system as sun is the centre and from this centre, other planets in distance are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Late r discoverie s added Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Astrology interprets what it conceives to be the future of man as indicated by the future of man as indicated by the planetary positions at the time of birth. When one knows what the present and future has in store for him through the knowledge of the influences of th e stars, he will be better equipped and in a better position to handle the future more successfully.
