About Hands-On Healing
Over the past 35 years I’ve successfully treated many types of cancer—bone, pancreatic, breast, brain, rectal, lymphatic, stomach, and leukemia—as well as other diseases, all using a hands-on technique that is painless, noninvasive, and has no unpleasant side effects. To my knowledge, no person I’ve treated has ever experienced a reoccurrence. As I will detail in Hands-On Healing, the effectiveness of this treatment has now been proven in 10 controlled animal experiments, and conducted in five university medical and biological laboratories by trained, skeptical researchers. Though my initial response to the validity of hands-on healing was one of incredulity, the accumulation of replicable scientific data has overwhelmed my own disbelief. I have become a failed skeptic. My animal research reverses the classic experimental model. I did not begin by testing mice in a lab, producing a theory that now awaits human application. I went into the lab to verify and gain insight into a procedure that I’d already successfully used to treat many people with a variety of medical problems, namely cancer.

Hands-On Healing: A Training Course in the Energy Cure William Bengst on, PhD Admittedly, much remains to be learned about how my treatments work. Does hands-on healing kill cancer, or does it stimulate the body through its own immune system to heal itself? Since the mice we cured became immune to further cancer injections, could the blood of cured mice be used to develop a vaccine? Given that my clinical patients have experienced no known reoccurrence, could the same experimental process be used to produce a cancer vaccine for humans? What happens between he aler and patient during hands-on treatments? Is energy or information exchanged? How are their brains affected? Recently, I’ve directed my curiosity toward a question with broad clinical application: Can others learn hands-on healing? Since most cultures have independently produced a tradition of hands-on healing, it seems reasonable to assume that this ability may be distributed throughout any population much like artistic or musical talent. If so, how can people possessing this ability uncover and utilize it? Consistent indicators of healing success include beginning a treatment with a clear intention to heal; an altered state of consciousness; an ability to bring the brain into peak focus; a sense of unity with the person or organism to be healed; a sense of being in touch with an external source of power; and a shedding of the ego in order to get out of the way. Unravelling the mystery of hands-on healing has been the passion driving much of my work over the past three decades. What I am sure of, through personal experience, is that this kind of healing is a natural system, not a magical one, which is why it’s also an imperfect one. Sometimes I can help and sometimes I can’t. What I endeavor to do is to offer patients the whole spectrum – metaphorically, white light – with the hope that they can gain from it what they need in order to return to health. That’s different from my healing them, though out of habit I still use that word. It’s also why I’m always surprised when patients thank me for restoring them to health. While those were my hands moving around, I never feel as if I was the healer. My hope is that all those who listen to this program take from it an expanded sense of the resources offered by the Universe, along with a greater awareness of their own potential in calling upon that abundance, not only for healing but for all aspects of life. The possibilities are infinite. The limitations are our own. Not faith and, not belief, but trust. --William Bengston, PhD

Hands-On Healing: A Training Course in the Energy Cure William Bengst on, PhD Please read the following disclaimer before listening to the program: The information presented in the six session audio program Hands-On Healing: A Training Course in the Energy Cure (further referred to as the “program”) is educational in nature and is provided only as general information. As part of the information contained in the program, understand that you will be introduced to the basics of the energy healing method William Bengston, PhD, developed, which is identified as the Bengston Energy Healing Method™ (further referred to as the “method”). The method consists of two steps. The first is to create a “list” (as discussed in the program) and the second is to perform a technique Dr. Bengston calls “cycling” (also discussed in the program) while applying a hands-on healing technique. The method engages energy fields and systems that are natural to each person and the Universe. The premise is that the method creates changes in the energy or spiritual aspects of the client, which then can manifest in the physical body. So when a qualified and authorized method practitioner works with a client using the method, the practitioner is connecting to the energy or spiritual “bodies” of the client, not the physical body. Therefore, when Dr. Bengston uses the words “treatment” or “treat/s,” they are used solely in the context of working with the client’s energy or spiritual bodies and n ot the physical body, which is the domain of the medical field and other allied health-care professionals. The method is a powerful alternative hands-on healing approach that Dr. Bengston’s published research with animal populations has shown to be effective. Although the method appears to have promising physical, mental, and spiritual health benefits for humans, it has yet to be fully researched by the Western academic, medical, and psychological communities and therefore is considered experimental for human application. Thus, the method would be considered “alternative” or “complementary” to the healing arts that are licensed in the United States. Understand there is a distinction between “healing” using the method and the practice of medicine or any other licensed health care practice. Dr. Bengston has a PhD in sociology and is not a medical doctor or other licensed health-care professional. Listening to the program and learning about the method is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment. Understand that you are advised to continue any medical or psychological treatment that you’re cu rrently receiving. In addition, understand that any information contained in the program is not to be considered a recommendation that you stop seeing any of your health-care professionals without consulting with your health care professional.
