Flexipacket Commissioning Steps

Flexipacket commissioning steps:

PC Requirement Microsoft xp,windows 7 /windowos 8 NSN flexi packet commissioning tool(CT)-1.3.37 Java Runtime Environment (JRE) Version-6.26 Ethernet straight cable.

Setting IP address:

Default IP of Flexipacket Hub 800 is 192.168.255.100. Put the below IP in your laptop and connect to DCN port of Flexipacket Hub 800.

Run NSN Flexi Packet Commissioning Tool on your PC. Select FPH800 from “Equipment” drop-down list and leave the “Operation Mode” dropdown list unmodified as “Assisted”. Click “Next



Select start from scratch and click next



The following commissioning wizard will appear .then click next.



Then following screen will appear click next.

Continue clicking next to configure IDU. Set the “Management VLAN Setting” according to the IP Plan. Otherwise leave it unmodified as “127”. Check the “Synchronize time from PC to IDU” checkbox. Set (GMT +03:00) for “Time zone” drop-down list. Set “Daylight saving enable” to “Disable”. Set “IDU IP Setting” according to the IP Plan. If there is no IP Plan. So please set the network elements’ IP address as below Leave “Card Setting” unmodified. Click “Next >”. IDU IP address: 10.122.12.40 Default gateway: 10.122.12.1 Note: for far end IDU put 10.122.12.39

Select “IDU-A GE 0/3 (PWR)(1103)” then “IDU-A GE 0/4 (PWR)(1104)”, the port you connected to the ODU, from “IDU port” drop-down list. Set “ODU IP Setting” according to the IP Plan. If, there is no IP Plan. So please set the network elements IP addres as below . -1 IP address: 10.122.12.42

-2 IP address: 10.122.12.44 t gateway: 10.122.12.1 Note: For far end Put ODU put 10.122.12.41 & 10.122.12.43 respectively Set the “PWR source” to “PWR on integrated device”. Select “NO” from “Ring topology” drop-down list. Specify the “ODU type” as “FPMR(P)”. Leave the “Mode” unmodified as “NNI”. Set the “Power supply” to “Enable”. Click “Add” button. Then the configuration of the port to ODU will be added to the list box as below.

Click next then following screen will appear. Then click next

At first, select “FPMR (P)” based on your equipment, from “ODU type” drop-down list. Set “ODU system type” to “2+0 XPIC”. Set the ip of “Vertical /master ODU” and the “Horizontal/slave ODU” from their drop-down lists. Select “revertive” from “Switch mode” drop-down list.

Click “Add”. Then the configuration of ODU System Type will be added to the list box

Following screen will appear .then click next.

Click Next.

Set TX profile as 256QAM and ACM TX Enable as disable then click modify and click next

Set TX Power as Per TD and click Modify click next

Following screen will appear click Next..

Click Next….

Set Tx Frequency as per TD and channel bandwidth as 28MHZ and put Radio Port up Click Modify and click Next.

Set Time GMT +3:00 and daylight disable. Click Next..

Save setting and click Next..

Put the current IDU IP and select Local area connection. Click Next

Click Validate. If there is no setting error among your configuration, the progress bar will fulfill 100% and “No setting error found.” message will be shown. Otherwise the incorrect or improper sub-step will turn red to indicate where the error occurred. So you can go back to that sub-step, find and rectify the issue and run validation again

Click Run… After clicking “Run”, the Commissioning Tool will present the commissioning processes stepby-step using the following progress bars and their titles.

Click Next…

Click Exit. And commissioning is finished…..

Then change your laptop IP to: 10.122.12.50 to access IDU or change IP as per you have configured the IDU. TO ACCESS CONFIGURED IDU:    

Click on runct. Select FPH800 and select mode as advance. Type the IDU IP .click next. Type the gateway and click Connect

TO ACCESS IDU THROUGH OBB PORT.

OBB PORT IP: 192.168.254.100

Laptop: 192.168.254.130

USER: admin Password: sysmanager
