Feeding Program Reflection August 14, 2013/2:30 held at Bagong Lote Elementary School

 A day of sharing sharing

Food is the basic necessity of everyone. I love children. That is why I really enjoyed the few hours of having feeding program especially dedicated to the children Bagong Lote Elementary School. I realized how an experience could be extraordinary by simply being with the less fortunate and making them happy even for a while. I became inspired to persevere more in life so that I can be a big help for the less fortunate. It’s not my first time joining a Feeding Program. In my days in high school, I always

facilitating a Feeding Program held in our barangay. Less Fortunate Children is really close to my heart because I myself experience becoming like them, eating once eating non nutritious foods and not having my “baon”. There is a chance that I need to transfer school so I can continue my

studies . We are lucky because we can eat more than three times a day, we can study in a good university, we have more “baon” and enough, we can eat what we want, we are wearing a good uniform and we can have what we want. I am lucky because all of these, I can have and I experience and I can have, but these children at the Bagong Lote cannot have it because there are not financially capable. So Don’t waste your foods or either your money to anything but help others. I am Very lucky because I can do what ever I want to do. I can eat what ever I want to eat. Even you, you’re lucky. So we must take care these blessing and share to others. Sharing to

others is the most special things I can do or we can do and feeling of we or I become the instrument of God to help others people are great. I can feel great and special feelings that even in a simple means I can help these Children. I’m not considered them as hopeless or helpless because I consider them as brothers and sister even I don’t know them.

So Friends take care the things you have and shared this because this thing is not forever yours. There is a chance that this thing you will loss. This children at the at Bagong Lote Elementary School, they not there fault that they born in less fortunate family because I know this children has his/her purpose here in earth. All of us has his/her own purpose © The Purpose Driven

If there is a chance or opportunity to be a part again of that activity either by the LMC or either others I am willing to volunteer my time to them because I know this is another way of  giving back what I receive and helping is my passion. I know there is a time specially I am a volunteer at LMC. I know I can meet this children and I am willing to render my free time to them not only in feeding program but I am willing to share my knowledge with them, I am willing to be a volunteer teacher to them and be the Ate of them like the way I do in our Parish and Barangay. Being able to share God's blessings with the little children truly shows the essence of being a Marian, Lasallians (Lasalyanetan) and a Franciscan Youth servant No matter how simple the ways and how small the amount, it is the willingness and  joyfulness to share that counts. Through this simple activity, we were able to send the message to the children and to their parents that if they strive harder in life, there will be more people who will be willing to help them. if they insert more effort in there studies they will be pull out to that fortunate life “As steward of Creation God expect people to be productive and to use the fruits of
