Febis K Series Slideway Oil
Product Description Esso Febis K Series oils are premium quality lubricants designed to satisfy the the strictest requirements of machine tool slideways. Their multi-functional performance makes them suitable for combined systems requiring hydraulic, gear and slideway lubrication. They are formulated from high quality mineral base oils and a unique ad vanced additive package that provides special low frictional characteristics, high oxidation resistance, excellent corrosion protection, outstanding load-carrying performance and special adhesive characteristics to resist wash-off from slideway surfaces. They also exhibit good corrosion prevention for steels and copper alloys completing their all around performance.
Features & Benefits The Esso Febis K Series lubricants offer a range of benefits to machine machine tool users. Their multi-functional performance performance characteristics combined with high oxidation/thermal stability and load-carrying ability reduces the potential for misapplication and assures excellent equipment performance. · · · · · ·
Good work piece finish resulting from the elimination of stick-slip and chatter Improved productivity and reduced downtime due to the excellent antiwear and load-carrying properties Longer service life and lower maintenance costs for machine tools High oxidation and thermal stability characteristics provide long lubricant life Consistent production of high precision parts due to control of slideway wear and outstanding lubricity Excellent protection against rust and corrosion particularly in the presence of aqueous coolants
Applications · · · ·
Machine tools which provide lubricant to hydraulic systems and slideways from a common system Machine tools where hydraulic and slideway lubrication s ystems are separate but the potential for cross-contamination exists In machinery where steel and copper alloys require lubricant compatibility and corrosion protection Machine tools where good load-carrying characteristics are desired such as in gears and bearings
