2. Intake ATA 71-11 Area, Visual Inspection: Check the LP Compressor (Fan) blades and the Inlet Guide Vanes (IGV) aerofoils for damage. Check the LP Compressor for freedom of rotation in the anti clockwise direction as viewed from the front of the engine. Check the LP Compressor blade attrition liner for heavy wear.
