INT. - EVENING We PAN to a EYE LEVEL,FULL SHOT of GIN, MIYUKI, and HANA, sitting to the side of a crowded Wedding Hall. They are politely eating and do not look up from their plates. KIYOKO is in her baby carrier on a chair next to GIN. The wedding guests are laughing and chatting amongst themselves. GIN looks up at the crowd. GIN (calmly) What have you gotten us into? HANA (quietly, but sharp) Just shut up and eat! A waitress walks past the trio, holding a tray with two wine bottles balanced on top of it. GIN stands up and takes both bottles from the tray. CUT to medium close up shot of KIYOKO's carrier, GIN, MIYUKI, and HANA. KIYOKO starts crying. GIN Diaper change. Your turn, Miyuki. MIYUKI (sharply) Keh! MIYUKI stands up, picks up KIYOKO in her carrier, and walks out of shot. EASE IN to GIN and HANA, still sat down. HANA Don't you think Kiyoko has amazing luck? GIN starts to drink from on of the wine bottles, then suddenly looks up and spits out the wine. Cut to a close up of shot of GIN, he looks dumbstruck. GIN Yeah.

POV, PUSH IN shot of OTA and OTA'S SON-IN-LAW walking towards GIN and HANA, wrapped up in their own pleasant conversation. GIN (CONT'D) Maybe she does. MEDIUM CLOSE UP shot of OTA'S SON-IN-LAW, looking off screen at OTA mid conversation. CA POV shot of unknown man's hand resting on a table. Next to his hand is a business card and the two photographs HANA, MIYUKI, and GIN have gotten hold of. OTA'S SON-IN-LAW Oh yeah. Her name's Sachiko. MEDIUM SHOT of OTA, OTA'S SON-IN-LAW, and HANA, standing around one of the empty guest tables. HANA Not "Midori?" OTA'S SON IN LAW Just at the club. She's Sachiko, "Happy Child," though she didn't look it. But some plastic surgery turned her into a good little earner. OTA'S SON-IN-LAW turns his attention back to the photographs laid on the table. CA CLOSE UP shot of OTA'S SON-IN-LAW'S hand holding a pen and tapping one of the photographs of SACHIKO. OTA'S SON IN LAW (CONT'D) She quit. Said she was pregnant. OTA'S SON-IN-LAW spins the pen in his hand. HANA Do you know where she is? MEDIUM CLOSE UP shot of OTA'S SON-IN-LAW. He smirks and raises his eyebrow. OTA'S SON IN LAW I doubt you'll wring any money out of her. MEDIUM CLOSE UP shot of HANA. She brings her finger to her mouth and looks up with a complacent expression.
