Spreadsheet Server Installation and Configuration Guide Pre-Installation
(1) Go the business business user’s desktop, log out the business business user windows’ windows’ account, account, and log in as administrator account (2) Now, extract extract the entire Spreadshe Spreadsheet et Server nstallation nstallation !ile "ack (#22 $%) to business business user’s machine &rom the &ollowing path'

&ter the extraction to the business business user user desktop, desktop, the desktop desktop should should have a &older namel *Spreadsheet Server+, having 2 &olders (*x#+ and *x-+) and a *Setup.exe+
(/) Now, disable disable the internet internet prox settings settings (i.e enable &ull right to outside outside internet)
Installation
(1) 0oublelick the *Setup.exe+ inside the *Spreadsheet Server+ &older one 3ust copied. (2) window will be popped out as below, 3ust clicking *4un+ and tpe in the admin logon i& re5uired.
(/) 6he so&tware will be now checking each o& criteria along the installation, "# $#% &'% %(' AC(I$' G# %# S&''P #) SC)''$ SA*').
(#) &ter all criteria have been validated (will have a green tick next to it), the *nstall+ button will be shown.
(7) lick the *nstall+ button () long the installation, &or an agreement, 3ust click *gree+8 leave all de&ault settings, no need to change, 3ust click *Next+.
(9) 6he so&tware will continue the installation and when it &inished, as shown below, then click *lose+ button.
Initialization
(1) Now enable the internet prox settings back to the original settings (2) n the business user’s desktop, log o&& the administrator right, and let the business user to login using his:her smart card or his:her own window logon. (/) &ter the business user has logon to his:her own machine using his:her own window logon, now go to the &ollowing path,

*saplogon.ini+ does not exist in the above location, please cop the &ollowing &ile into the \\aeonfs\Individual "ata6\,sers\-indo-!user!name8\Application "ata\SAP\Common &rom the \\aeonad774\Information System\Public\SAP\IB!Share\Client!SS!Config9 Saplogon.ini (;) Now, still using the business user’s login, Go to Start $enu<ll "rograms < *Global So&tware Spreadsheet Server+ lick the *Spreadsheet Server ontrol "anel+ (1=)
&terwards, it will pop the below windows, 3ust let them loading,
(11) &terwards, the below screen pops out8 click the *on&igure Spreadsheet Server+, a screen will be popped out,
(12) n the above, check the radio button *S"+, in the below path, check the radio button *>ocal '?@sers?"ublic?0ocuments?Global So&tware nc?Spreadsheet Server), &ollowed b clicking *AB+
(1/) &terwards, it will prompt the business user to login, please input client number (e.g i& CS, then input 7==), the S" @ser 0, the S" >ogon "assword, &ollowed b clicking *AB+ at the righthand corner o& the login screen.
(1#) 6he so&tware will then start to initialiDe &or a while, when the initialiDation is complete, the &ollowing screen will be popped out.

n this screen, click the *Setting+ in the upper pane
(1) @nder the *General+ in the le&t pane, uncheck the box *Start automaticall when Excel starts+ and check the box *Enhanced >ogging+,
(19) Now go to the *0esigner G>+, click the *%rowse &or G> 0e&inition+8 when prompting &or password, input * gsi+, then click *AB+
(1-) Ane will see the &ollowing window, please choose the *S"FNewG>.xml+, then click ok.

Test Run
(1) Now still under the logon o& business user, Go to Start $enu<ll "rograms < $icroso&t A&&ice<lick the *$icroso&t Excel 2=1=+ to start the Excel (2) & the initialiDation is success&ul, one will see a tab *Spreadsheet Server+ as below,
(/) hen clicking the *Spreadsheet Server+ tab, ou will see below,
(#) 6o test logon to Spreadsheet Server, click the *0isabled+ button to login, a login screen will be displaed,
(7) hoose the desired connection, &ollowed b clicking *AB+ () nput the client number, S" @ser 0, S" >ogon "assword, &ollowed b clicking the *AB+ button,
(9) & logon success&ull, the Excel upper pane will displa with the *Enabled+ button, with green tick nearb, impling that now the user has logon to Spreadsheet Server through Excel.
