If you do not want the password field to appear in any Approval Server Web application, add this line to the file: showpassword=0
The password field will not be displayed. If you have a process that requires password authentication, it cannot be used on the web.

Adding Approvals to Your Application
If you want the password field to appear in all Approval Server Web applications, add this line to the file: showpassword=1
The field will be displayed. If your process does not require a password, values entered into the field are ignored. The location of the showpassword line within the file is not critical, but the setting must appear alone on a line as shown. ➤
Enabling Optional Diary Fields under ARWeb 3.x
Note Diary fields are always enabled under ARWeb 4.x.
This optional is for users of ARWeb version The following steps describe how procedure to allow approvers to view existing Diary3.x. data from the Comments or Audit Trail fields. 1.
Log in to the Remedy Administrator tool as AR System Administrator.

On the xxx-Detail-Signature form, copy your view to create a view named webModify. On this view, make sure the fields from the AP:Detail form named Comments Web and Audit Trail Web are in the view, but hidden.

Copy the active link AP-Sample:LoadDiaryOnDisplay filter. On the copy, change the form to which the filter is attached to your xxx-Detail-Signature form.

In the custom modifyfo.for file you created (see earlier steps), find the Comments field. It should appear similar to the following: Comments |
