Do tested components demonstrate no evidence of Continued Progressive Combustion per NFPA 255, ASTM E84 or UL 723?? Has the article been tested in form intended for use per NFPA 255, ASTM E84 or UL 723? Is there plastic foam ______, tar_______ or other coatings in the condensate pan______? Inside Air-Handler Unit Inspection Air-Handling Unit condensate pan inspections are often overlooked for non-compliant foam, tar and other coatings, as well as accumulations of biological hazards. Ceiling Cavity Plenum Fire Stopping - Are all penetrations through rated walls, floors and / or ceilings properly firestopped? If not made from metal or glass, are light diffusers listed and marked "Fixture Light Diffusers for Air-Handling Fixtures"? Is the air temperature delivered to the plenum less than 121C (250F) Maximum? Are the plenum construction materials suitable for continuous temperature and humidity exposures? If the plenum (ceiling / floor) is part of a fire resistance rated assembly does it comply with rated assembly design? For fire-rated ceiling systems are there gypsum "tents" over recessed lighting, speakers, etc? Are ceiling materials (in rated floor/ceiling assemblies) consistent with original design?
