Prologue

On the first turn, t urn, take take shelter in the forest. On the second tur n, n, move Mycen M ycen to protect the rest of the party. On the third retu third return, rn, assault the enemy with Mycen. Mycen is str ong enough ong enough to defeat all of the enemies solo. Select an empty land l and and press press the Apprentice button. That raises the battle menu. You may wish wish to enable to enable Smart End. Smart End detects when all of your units have acted, and ends the turn automatically. Without Smart End, you must end each turn manually in the battle menu. Act 1 Mycen's house There is an action menu at the bottom of the screen. Select Examine. Examine the bottom of the tree to find 2 oranges. Select Move. Move to the vlllage Square. Examine the bottom of the cart for Flour. Move to the village Entrance. Examine the bottom of the cart for Bread and Flour. Talk to Lukas again for another scene. Return to the village Entrance. Talk to Lukas again for another scene. Return to Mycen's house for a scene. Return to the village Entrance. Talk to Lukas again for a scene.

Talk to Faye and Kliff. Recruit them. Select Move at the bottom of the screen. Exit the village. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------On the world screen, press the X button to raise the world menu. Select Connect. Select DLC. You can buy a DLC for free. That DLC is called Mila's Bounty. Download Mila's Bounty. In the world menu, select Inventory. Select Faye. Select Convoy. Select Boots. These boots were given to you by Mila's Bounty. For the other characters, equip them with food by using the Convoy command. You can return to Ram Village for an optional quest. In the village Square, an Indignant woman asks you to defeat 20 brigands. The reward for the quest is fruit of life, which adds 2 Hit Points to a character. When you are prepared for your next battle, select Alm and press the A button. In this battle, advance Alm and Lukas into the forest for shelter. Advance the other characters forward 2 spaces. Use Alm and Lukas to weaken enemies, while the other characters finish them off. This allows the weaker characters to grow. After the first battle of the Act in Ram Woods, proceed to the second battle in Fleecer Forest. After Fleecer Forest, proceed up to Thieves' Shrine. Congratulations on reaching the first dungeon. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thieves' Shrine You can slash the grass on the ground with the A button to collect coins. You can battle the bandits if you want. Behind the boxes to the west is a hidden alcove with skeletons. They are quite strong at this point. I recommend skipping them for now and returning later. On the right side, you can slash barrels to find an Ale. Your destination is straight ahead from the entrance. After a battle with a weak boss, recruit a new character. After recruitment, select Examine at the bottom of the screen. There is a Mana Herb on the left side of the screen. You have the option of talking to the statue to promote your characters. You should wait until they are at least level 10. If you want to optimize your statistics, you can wait until level 20, but that requires patience and grinding. The recommended level is 10. Select Move at the bottom of the screen. Move to the upper part of the map. It is called the Interior of the shrine. In the interior, you can drink from 2 fountains to raise your statistics. The left fountain raises Speed. The right fountain raises Hit Points. You can drink from the left fountain once. You can drink from the right fountain twice. Back at the statue, you can Examine it and select Memory Prisms to view previous scenes. When you are finished, exit the shrine. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Back on the world screen, press the X button. Select Inventory. Swap the Boots from Faye to your character. Proceed to the next battle in Ram Valley. In this battle, you face a bandit with a shield. Place a strong character between your new character and the bandit. Place your new character 2 spaces away from the bandit. Select Black Magic. Protect your new character with your others while she casts. After the battle is over, equip the shield on your new character. In the next battle, support conversations appear. In the battle phase, Faye will raise a talk bubble above her. You can move Almond to talk to Faye. Also, you can move Tobin to talk to Kliff. After a battle at Southern Outpost, enter the outpost. Examine the right side for Drinking Water, Iron Lance, and Rusted Shield. Examine the ground to the left of the door for Wine. Move to the War Room. Examine the table to find Wine, Ale, and Soup. Examine the right side to find Rusted Sword. Examine the left to find Lightning Sword. Go ahead and equip this one. Move to the Dungeon. Examine the table to the right to find Bread, Wine, and Cheese. Examine the floor to find a key. Examine the cell. After the scene, exit the outpost. Equip your new character with a shield or lance. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Proceed through 2 more battles in southern Zofia. Enter the Deliverance Hideout for a scene. Exit the hideout. Return to the Thieves' Den. In the left side, slash open the boxes to the alcove. In the alcove, slash open a treasure chest for Iron Sword. Exit the den. Return to the hideout. Deliverance Hideout Proceed to a 4-way intersection. Take a right turn. Take another right for a small room with a treasure chest. Slash the chest for Iron Bow. Return to the 4-way intersection. Proceed straight (west). Take a left turn for a room with a chest. The chest contains money. Return to the 4-way intersection. Take a left turn (north). Then take a right turn. Slash the barrels for 2 Breads. Return to the 4-way. Take a left turn (east). Take another left turn. One of the enemies drops Bonewalker Oil. Return to the hallway. Take a left turn (east). Enter the door with the blue banners. Proceed to a shrine. After a scene, recruit Forsyth. Equip him with Iron Lance. Examine the floor on the left side for Mana Herb. Proceed to the alcove behind the statue. Drink from the fountain on the left 3 times for Defense. The right fountain is dry. Return to the shrine. Return to the dungeon. Exit the dungeon. Recruit Python. Equip him with a bow. Proceed to Zofia Castle for a battle. This is the final battle of the Act, so if you are in Casual Mode, your characters can fall. They will return in the Act 3. Don't let Alm fall. After the battle, enter the castle. Move to the Treasure Vault. On the table are Wine and Cheese. Next to the table is a pike called Ridersbane. In the cupboard behind the table is Wine. On the right floors is Black Pearl. Proceed to the Central Hall. On the right floor are Steel Lance and Right Shield. You can proceed to the Throne Room for an optional scene. Proceed to the staircase for a scene. Proceed upstairs for the end of the Act. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Act 2 Proceed to the Entrance. After 2 characters join you, return to the entrance for a third. Examine the right side for Wine, Butter, Flour, and a Cog. Exit. Return to the Entrance. Talk to the hermit for a quest to defeat 20 revenant. Exit. Drink from the first fountain 3 times for Speed. The second fountain is dry. Exit. On the world screen, proceed to battle revenants. After the battle, return to the priory. The revenants re-spawn. Defeat 20. Return to the hermit for your reward -- Cheese. Exit the priory. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Proceed past the priory to Nevis port. Examine the left side for Flour and Fish. Examine the right for Flour. Move to the Tavern. Examine 3 Ales, 2 Wines, Sausage, and Cheese. The upper left has Garlic. Move to the Wharf. Talk to the Old Timer. Examine the lower left for 2 Herrings. Return to the Tavern. Talk to Saber. Press the B button. Select Menu. Select Celica. Equip her with food. Return to the Wharf. Talk to the Old Timer again. In the world menu, select Order. Move Saber closer to the front of the party. Proceed up to fight pirates. After several battles, enter the Pirate Throne. Examine for 4 Ales, Meat, and Hamilton Re-arrange the Order of your characters. Move to the Treasure Vault. Get Wine, Rusted Shield, Iron Sword, Cog, and Steel Sword. Equip Celica with Blessed Ring. Equip Kamui with a sword. Exit the Throne. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the Third Pirate Raid, have Mae get the fruit of life for an increase of 2 Hit Points. Proceed to the left for the Seabound Shrine. Seabound Shrine

Slash the barrels for Coral Fragment. Proceed further in to find Cheese on the ground. Proceed further in to find a Feeble Man. Talk to him. Give him Dried Meat. Examine the floor for Mana Herb and Memory Prism. Proceed to the alcove. Drink the left fountain 3 times for Skill -- the statistic. The right fountain is dry.

There is a blocked door between the fountains. Slash it open. Enter. Slash the boxes at the back for Bread. Take the western hallway. Turn right for a blocked door. Slash through for a fountain that gives 2 doses of experience. Return to the gargoyle room. Turn right to descend stairs. Slash the chest for Blessed Sword. Equip the sword. Exit the shrine. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Enter Zofia Harbor. Talk to Alessio. Sell him your Coral Fragment. Examine the left floor for Herring and Black Pearl. Move to the Tavern. Examine the tables for 2 Ales, Soup, and Wine. Move to the village Entrance. After a scene, leave the Harbor. Move to Zofia Castle. After the battle, Move to the Central Hall. Talk to the Cheese Lover. If you have Holey Cheese, give it to him. He gives you Honey. You should now have Honey, Flour, and Butter. Exit the castle. Return to Zofia Harbor. Go to the tavern. Talk to the Tavernkeep Wife. If you give her those ingredients, she gives you a Sweet Cookie. Return to the castle. Move to the Central Hall, then the staircase. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Act 3

Move to the Treasure Vault. Talk to the scholar for a quest. Move to the Central Hall. Talk to the Cheese Lover. Give him Blue Cheese for Medicinal Syrup. Talk to Rion for a quest. Move upstairs to the balcony. Get 2 Oranges and a Memory Prism. Exit the castle. Return to Ram Village. In the village Square, an old man will trade you blue cheese for Ram Wine. Exit the village. Go to the Deliverance Hideout. Proceed to the 4-way intersection. Take a left turn (west). Take another left turn (south). The enemy in this room carries the Lima Armlet, which is sought by the scholar. Take the armlet to the scholar in the castle's Treasure Vault. Exit the castle. Go to the Thieves' Shrine. Proceed to the actual shrine. Promote Lukas from Soldier to Knight. Exit the Shrine. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Move Celica to her next battle. After the battle, move her to Zofia Harbor. Recruit 2 characters. Go the tavern. Talk to Fugue. Exit the harbor. Proceed up to the mountain graveyard. After the battle, proceed to the Mountain Village. Go to the Smithy. Get Drinking Water. Go to the Square. Talk to the fish-crazed man. Give him shield fish. He gives you Pegasus Cheese. Use the Pegasus Cheese on Velbar to increase his Speed. The peddler let's you transfer an item to Alm. You should wait until later in the Act, to send the Rion Shield. Examine for Drinking Water, Orange, and Flour. Go to the House. Recruit. The lumberjack wants an axe. Examine for Orange. If you try to ascend to the Valley Approach instead, 3 of your characters will abandon your cause. After the Desert Stronghold, enter the stronghold interior. Move to the War Room for Steel Bow, Splitting Axe, Rion Shield, Yogurt, and Flour. Exit the stronghold. Return to the Mountain Village. In the House, give the axe to the lumberjack for Bears Carving. Exit the village. Return to the stronghold. Move to the Dungeon. Talk to the Young Traveler. Examine the right table for Bread and Meat. Open the cell door. Exit the stronghold. Equip your new recruit. Choose to fight either Deen or Sonya. After your victory, the other one retreats, but can be recruited later. Proceed to Greith's Citadel. After the battle, enter the citadel. Get Memory Prism, Drinking Water, Silver Purse, and Devil Axe. Move to the War Room. Get Fugue Shield, Ram Wine, Yogurt, Pegasus Cheese, 2 Ales, and Hamilton. Use the Pegasus Cheese on a character for Speed. Move to Dungeon 1. Open the cell. On the left floor is a Javelin. Move to Dungeon 2. Open the cell. On the right table is a Drinking Water. Exit the citadel. Equip your new characters. Take the Fugue Shield to Lord Fugue in Zofia Harbor for a Golden Apple that gives experience. Proceed up to Valley Approach. Dragon Shrine

The right side has coins. Proceed straight to the shrine. Examine the left side for Mana Herb. Return to the dungeon. This time, take the western hallway. Then take a right turn for a chest. It has Iron Lance. Return to the intersection. Proceed to a third intersection. Take a right turn. Ignore the next right and proceed straight for a Nethergranite. Southwest of the granite is A Son's Journal. Reading the journal progresses a quest in the Mountain Village. Return to that right turn. Take it this time to the north. After a battle with necrodragons, get Coral Ring and Cog. Exit the shrine. Use the Nethergranite on a character to increase his Skill statistic. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Proceed to the Temple of Mila. After the battle, enter the temple. Examine the floor for Cog and Honey. Move to the Mila Idol for Honey. Move to the Basement for Cog. Move to Mila's Chamber for a long scene. Examine the right floor for Dragon Scale. Return to the Basement. Talk to the Old Timer. Proceed to the Second Basement. Drink from the fountain twice for experience. Exit the temple. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Move Alm up to Northern Zofia. When Forsyth reaches Level 7, promote him. After several battles, proceed up to the Forest Village. The left floor has Orange. Move to the village Square. Talk to Luthier. The peddler let's you send an item to Celica. His counterpart is in Mountain Village. Send her Mana Herb. Have Celica send her Rion Shield to Alm. If Celica has 3 Mana Herbs now, go to Novis Greatport. The tavernkeep will give you Medicinal Syrup. Go to the Temple of Mila. In the Great Hall, give the syrup to the distraught lady. She will give you money - - 50 silver marks. Have Alm take the Rion Shield to the castle. You will receive Pegasus Cheese. Give the Cheese to the Cheese Lover. He will give you Exotic Spice. Then return him to Forest Village. In the village Square, the right floor has Flour. House 1 has Orange. Talk to the man at House 2. Get the Memory Prism to his right. The Smithy has Drinking Water. Sell your Exotic Spice to the smith -- Trade In. The Spice is not used in any quests, and sells for gold marks. Talk to the smith to forge weapons. I recommend the Rusted items and Python's bow. Return to the castle. Go to the Throne Room. Talk to the hermit. Go to Deliverance Hideout. Return to the room that had the Lima Armlet. Defeat the new boss. Return to the hermit. Proceed to Desaix. Use Silque's Warp ability. After the battle, enter the fortress. Get Honey and Steel Lance. In the War Room, get Pegasus Cheese, Wine, the chest, Spice, Cog, and Silver Purse. Move to the Dungeon. Get Wine. Exit the fortress. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Proceed to the Sylvan Shrine.

Sylvan Shrine

In the first room to the left, slash a blocked door to find a fountain of Resistance -- drink twice, The second room to the left has Ale and Flour. Proceed to the back room for the shrine, which has Mana Herb on the left floor. Talk to the girl to progress a quest in the Forest Village. Behind the shrine is fountain of Hit Points -- 3 times. In the shrine, save your game. Return to the dungeon. Take a left turn (east). In the gargoyle chambers, take 2 left turns for Dried Meat. The chest at the back of the chambers contains a gold mark. There is nothing else in these chambers except gargoyles. Exit the shrine. Return to Forest Village to complete the quest about the girl. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------When you enter the Sluice Gate, there is Mana Herb on the left floor. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Act 4

The Control Room has Bread and Drinking Water. Back at the entrance, the Sluice Keeper wants Bonewalker Oil. Exit the Sluice Gate. Take Celica to Mila's Temple. Go to Mila's Chamber in the back. Talk to Flustered Cleric. Move to the Second Basement. Proceed to a fountain that grants Attack -- twice. Nearby is a chest with Mage Ring. Proceed to the end to find a silver platter on the right floor. Return the platter to the cleric for Nectar.
