After the Ìyèròsùn of Ökànràn Ösá is sprinkled on the sacrifice, chant the following the prayer: Ëm÷ta làá k’Éruku f’Ôlôjà Translation: Prayer: It is three times that we give Éruku to Ôlôjà . The sacrifice is then used to touch his right and left ears; we shall say: Ifá má j÷ kí ó fi etí ötún gbô àásán, má jê kí ó fi etí òsì gbô ìgèdè, kí hàà ó má ti ÷nuu r÷ bô Translation: Prayer: Ifa, please do not allow him to use his right ear to hear àásán. Do not allow his left ear to hear ìgèdè. Let him exclaim in sadness because of anything. We raise the sacrifice toward the mouth of the client; and ask the client to blow on the sacrifice (3x) three times. We then say: Àjê ò níí j÷ ohùn r÷ o! Translation: Prayer: May the witches not eat up your voice Now add dirt or sand from the Earth and say the following two prayers: Ilë tí wôn bá ní lágbájá ò rúbæ, kóo pé ó rú, tí wôn bá sæ pé kò tù, kóo pé ó tù. Prayer: Mother Earth, if anyone says this client did not offer sacrifice, testify that he did; and if they said he did not give the free booties, tell them he gave it. We did not offer you as sacrifice, but we only added you to bear witness.
