DOUBLE MINDED

"I hate double-minded men, but I love your law," (Ps. 119:113). "But if he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That Page 1

man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does," (James 1: 6-8).

Author William Menzies Alexander gives the following characteristic of demon possession; automatic representation and persistent and consistent acting out a " New Personality" and evidence of a knowledge and intellectual power neither possessed by the subject nor explicable on the pathological hypothesis; change of personality, involving complete change of moral character. These are but the misapprehensions of an uninstructed mind and may be briefly dismissed. Schizophrenia a mental problem. Psychologists see it as a mental disorder. It manifests itself by a person acting out two or more personalities. Makes a person irrational or extraordinarily angry. Deranged throwing a person into disorder. •

The passage from sanity to insanity involves alters personality. The change follows a recognized pathological order. There is sometimes a morbid exaltation of certain faculties; but never any real augmentation of intellectual power. Scriptures says, "That person is unstable in all his ways." James 1-7. Double minded means a brain is split and goes in two directions and cannot make sound decisions. Unbalanced actions result from internal inconsistencies; two personalities interacting can be created by the human spirit being controlled by demons. Sometimes, these demons will overpower human being and get control of the will of the person and drive him/her to go deeply into darkness. They can also keep the person in total bewilderment creating the mental condition called insanity.

SCHIZOPHRENIA AND DEMONIC PROBLEMS Schizophrenia from the standpoint of a demonic problems occurs when a demon or demons (in a person) get so strong that the person’s nature collapses and the demonic character takes over the person, body, soul and spirit.

Attract their own cluster of demons and thus a personality in the person is developed by a demon cluster; most of these clusters are headed by rebellion in one group and rejection of other; causes a disintegration of the development of the personality. •

A lifetime of having a split personality, the person may be totally unaware that spirits have integrated themselves and controlling certain aspects of the person's life. •

Walls within the mind are created

that hides their real feelings. Arejecting spirit causes them to reject themselves - Suicide. •

The Bible shows that a person is a triune being, body, soul and spirit. The soul, which consists with mind, will and emotions; experiences bears witness thus many Christians become sick caused by demons; to what degree is high blood pressure, heart trouble can involve demonic activity; to what extent do you believe that your soul can be affected by demons in the realms of your emotions? Do you have a bad temper? Is there mental illness in your family background? Do have rejection, hate, unforgiveness, isolation, visiting you daily? Are you being harassed? Many Christians are sick in bodies; sick in minds, can't seem to serve God; can’t read the Word of God; can’t go to church; can’t pay tithes; gripe about the preacher; the spouse; the people in the church. Christian people swing and dance sing and eat but many are Luke warm in their commitment to Jesus! Could it be . . . demons? Most of the time, it is demons are causing these problems. JESUS said in (John 10:10) that Satan has come to kill, steal and destroy, but that He (JESUS) has come to give life and life abundantly. JESUS came to destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8). What happens to Christians that are having demonic problems? Are falling through the cracks and are being sent to psychologist or psychiatrists; are they being drugged and some even sent to the mental wards? Have mercy Lord Jesus. However, Christians are simply taught, that they cannot have devils! Jesus says in (Mark 7:21), " For from within, [that is] out of the hearts of men, come base and wicked thoughts, sexual immorality, stealing, murder, adultery; 22). Coveting (a greedy desire to have more wealth), dangerous and destructive wickedness, deceit; unrestrained (indecent) conduct; an evil eye (envy), slander (evil speaking, malicious misrepresentation, abusiveness), pride abusiveness), pride (the sin of an uplifted heart against God and man), foolishness (folly, lack of http://www.miracleinternetchurch.com

sense, recklessness, thoughtlessness). 23) All these evils, [purposes and desires] come from within, and they make the man unclean and render him unhallowed." These names that shown above are all names human activities that are inspired by demons. Look at these early Christians that had backslidden and how the Apostle Paul dealt with them. "In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, and my spirit with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, to deliver such an one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus" (1 Corinthians 5:4, 5). The Apostle here deals with disobedient and sinful believer in the church at Corinth according to spiritual conditions and its power to destroy the flesh. Paul was not placing a curse of destruction on this person as it is taught by many ministers today. Paul was simply releasing this transgressor out of the Christian fellowship and from the power and protection of the Church because of his rebellion, back into the world. Thus, Satan would have free reign over this man’s flesh and he would kill him. Other Words, when a Christians rebels against the rules of God, he/she resigns or gives up the important protections of the blood covering of Jesus.

DEALING WITH THE DEVIL Dealing with the Devil in a person’s life requires a backslidden Christian to repent before they can be freed from the powers of darkness. . Verse 10, specifically emphasizes that he is speaking not about evildoers of the world but in the church. Verse12, Again it is made clear. Prov 14:14-16, “The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself. 15 The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going. 16 A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.” KJV [A wise man feareth] He can never trust in himself, though he be satisfied from himself. He knows that his sufficiency is of GOD; and he has that fear that causes him to depart from evil, which is a guardian to the love he feels. Love renders him cautious; the other makes him 1 confident. His caution leads him from sin; his confidence leads him to God.

Proverbs 14:17, “He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated.” [He that is soon angry] Q-tsar °apayim, "short of nostrils:" because, when a man is angry, his nose is contracted, and drawn up toward his eyes. [Dealeth foolishly] He has no time for reflection; he is hurried on by his passions, speaks like a fool, and 2 acts like a madman. Jesus is the only way back to restoring a person to a sound mind. He is the one way we can ever have any capacity to enter into God’s Holy presence. Unless you are born again into the Christian family of God, you cannot enjoy the privileges offered by the Bible.

In the four corners sit Matthew Matthew,, Mark , Luke and John John,, authors of the four gospels gospels,, with their symbolic animals. The rest of the Apostles stand around Peter and Paul. At the very top is the Tetragrammaton "‫"הוהי‬.

REPENTANCE BRINGS FORGIVENESS AND DELIVERANCE Why are Christian leaders silent about demon possession? It consisted of one-third of the Lord’s ministry and brought absolute liberty to the victims. Luke 11:14-26 (v. 20): "If I with the finger of God cast out devils, as you may assure yourselves I do, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you, the kingdom of the Messiah offers itself and all its advantages to you, and, if you receive it not, it is at your peril." In Matthew it is by the Spirit of God, here by the finger of 3 God; the Spirit is the arm of the Lord, Isa 53:1. Yet, Jesus gives His followers absolute power over demons and Satan in His name! They can drive demons out exactly as He did with superior power. However, once a person is delivered, it is imperative that he/she turns away from sin and lives for Jesus. If the freed person opens the door again, the demon will return, bringing seven more wicked demons and repossess the person.

Luke 11:21-26, “When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: 22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils. 23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth. 24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, 2

I will return unto my house whence I came out. 25 And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. 26 Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.” KJV Our Father is always willing to hear the cries of a repentant, contrite heart and will hear your prayers if you repent and turn from your sins. Many have fallen down the slippery slope of sin and cannot find any relief from its yokes because, in many churches today, sin and its pressures on their lives. Demons wrapped around your sin life brings your soul into strong bondage. Both sin and the demonology must be dealt with to free the body, soul and spirit of the individual free. However, most ministers never preach, or talk about these bondages.

FREEDOM

If you’ve come to the end of your enslavements where sins are concerned and desire to try and overcome sin in your life more fully, then ask Jesus to take charge of your life – repent and submit to Him, His Word and His Will. Jesus is faithful. He will free you.

John 10:10, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” KJV

Romans 10:9, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, THOU SHALT BE SAVED. “ Romans 10:10, “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:11 “For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed”. Romans 10:12, “For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.” Romans 10:13, “FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED.” Once you come to Jesus, start seeking a close relationship with the Master. The way you seek him is through His Word. Buy an Authorized (King James) Version of the Holy Scriptures and (begin read the gospels--Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John--and fall in love with Jesus. Obey His Word. Seek deliverance from your past and live for Jesus.
