Blast-Resistant Buildings
Protecting people It’s the reality of your business – operating in hazardous areas. Whether you’re in the petrochemical business or an operator in Alberta’s oil sands, keeping your workers safe, maintaining productivity and meeting regulatory standards means you need the reliability and assurance of ATCO-Hunter’s blast-resistant solutions. Constructed and tested to the highest expectations, ATCO-Hunter offers building solutions that keep your employees and equipment protected. ATCO-Hunter’s in-house engineering team can provide standard layouts or custom design solutions for a range of applications including: • Remote instrument enclosures • Control rooms • Operator shelters • Zone shops • Ofces • Labs • Lavatories • Guard booths
Not all blast-resistant buildings are created equal We’ve tested our buildings and we’re condent in our product. Our steel blast-resistant buildings meet industry standards, and are proven. An independent consulting rm conrmed through eld tests on a standard 8psi, 200ms blast-resistant unit, using 1,250 pounds of ANFO explosives (a mixture of ammonia nitrate and fuel), that ATCO-Hunter passes the standard for full-scale explosive testing.
ATCO-Hunter’s standard eet units are designed for use at overpressure up to 8 PSI, 200ms for high response.
About ATCO-Hunter With more than 60 years of experience in over 100 countries, ATCO Structures & Logistics has been a leader in the design and manufacturing of modular buildings.
