DISTILLATION
Short Description:There are seven distillation column in this industry for separating the alcohol.These are1.Analyser column 2.Aldehyde column 3.Pre ectifying !olumn"P!# $.Purifying !olumn"P!# %.ectifying !olumn"!# &.'mpure Separation !olumn"'SP# (.Simmering !olumn Among these ( columns analyser)aldehyde)P! and P! are *ept at pressure less than atmospheric.! is *ept at high pressure mainly in +et,een 2.1 and 2.2 atm and 'SP and simmering are *ept at atmospheric pressure.
Purpose of distillation in ' : to separate ena "e/tra neutral alcohol# and rs "rectified spirit# from fermented mash.

"lees# and the other portion is drained ,ith level maintanace. 3. rom middle section 5A ) ; and >; is ta*en out.5A is sent to the simmering column ,here as ; and >; is sent to the 'SP column. $. 5A ta*en out from this column has lo,er ethyle alcohol percentage so further processing is needed.
