Project File Location Page 1 of 14 Calculation Objective The purpose of this calculation is to document the Design of Pipeline (600HP) Pumps Foundation for the Dehydration Facilities.

Calculation Method [1] Determine the imposed load from the Pumps to the soil and compare with an assumed allowable gross soil bearing capacity. [2] Determine the dimensions for the Pumps' Foundation and assess its dynamic performance. [3] Determine the reinforcemt for the Pumps' Foundation and assess its dynamic performance.

Assumptions Grade of concrete, f cu = 30 N/mm 2 , Grade of steel, f y = 410 N/mm 2 , Assumed soil bearing capacity= 50 KN/m 2 .

Conclusions The results of the analysis show that the foundation dimensions are adequate to support the dead and dynamic loads. The imposed stress to the soil, the eccentric and natural frequency are acceptable. Nominal reinforcement provided is adequate.
