Someone was calling on this account claiming to be the customer of record. They first attempt on 10/5/15 e was able to verify CPNI and when he did so, he had a call forward put on the line and it was forwarded to what appears to be a Florida number. The real customer called because he wasn't eceiving calls. We confirmed that there was a call forward on the line. We removed the call forward. We again started receiving calls from the erson who was claiming to be the customer on 10/19/15. When he called, he was asked different CPNI questions, and he was unable to answer them. We did not assist him and advised he would need to come into the office with photo id. In the meantime, we did communicate with the real customer ho indicated that his identity had been stolen. I advised that he would need to come into the office with his photo ID and change his security questions. He did indicate that he had contacted contacted the police. I suggested that he have the police police contact us to obtain call records. I did this on 10/21/15. As of 10/28/15 I have not heard heard from law enforcement. I have attempted to file this pretexting breach breach at the FCC website. The websites that are eferenced don?t seem to work. I was able to successfully access the data breach portal and submitted the breach information on 10/28/15 Someone was calling on this account claiming to be the customer of record.
