Chapter 1 SBDX – Installation & Hardware Setup Customer Site Inspection There should be ample space the around the area where the cabinet is to be installed. The cabinet must have a clearance of 1 meter to either side of it and directly in front of it. It should preferably be hung on a wall, at least 1.5 meter above the floor and close to a 110/220V (50 0r 60 Hz) power supply source. Telephone cables must run through a different trunking to that of the power, earth and battery cables.

Space Requirement 1. Verify that there is sufficient space for the Main Distribution Frame (MDF), in addition to the space required by the cabinet. 2. Verify that there is sufficient space for Power Backup equipment, if it will be provided as a part of the installation. Due to the great variety of Power Backup Equipment that is available, no specific requirements can be detailed in this procedure. Minimum requirement of the battery backup is 24 DC at 7 AH.

Recommended Tools In order to properly install and maintain the SBDX system, the installation and service person must be equipped with proper tools. It is recommended that the installation or service personnel have the following list of tools as a minimum at their immediate disposal for any SBDX installation site. a) b) c) d) e) f) g) h) i) j)

Unpacking the Carton 1. Inspect the shipping carton for evidence of physical damage or mishandling. Report any damage to the carrier immediately. 2. Lift the top of the shipping carton. 3. Remove the foam inserts, which may be present on the top and on the sides of the cabinet and set aside. 4. Remove any circuit card boxes lying on top of the SBDX cabinet. 5. Lift cabinet cabinet and and place it on on the ground. 6. Carefully remove the plastic dust wrap from the cabinet. Coral Telecom Ltd.

Wall Mounting of the System A template sheet has been provided for wall mounting the equipment to match the location. Place the template on the selected position for wall mounting and mark the exact positions for fitting the wall plugs. After all four wall plugs have been fixed on the wall; the bolts provided in the packet can be secured. For mounting the cabinet, follow the steps given below: a) Carefully move the cabinet to the location where it is to be installed. b) Select the location on the wall for mounting the system. The wall must not have any ups and downs in the plaster as this will result in improper mounting of the system. Place the template over the selected position. c) Mark the location location of the screws with the spacing of the mounting holes, present on the template. These holes match the mounting holes on the bottom of the cabinet. d) The bolts must be embedded at least 2 inches in the wall and it must be protruding at least 1inches from the wall. e) Make sure that the bolts are properly fixed in the wall. If required, required, plaster the wall wall near the bolts so that the bolts are fixed firmly. f)

After the bolts bolts are fixed on the wall, lift the cabinet and bring bring it near the mounting screws. Adjust the cabinet so that the screws match with the mounting holes. Now tighten the screws so that the cabinet is level with the wall.

g) Remove any wires or any other materials, which may be present inside the cabinet. h) Now you are ready to start the wiring and other installation procedures.

Electrical Requirements Verify that electrical service is sufficient and located in close proximity to the system. The SBDX operates only at 230V AC (+/- 20 %), 50 Hz.

Connect the 2 battery leads to the terminals at the bottom of the unit. Red lead (+) and black lead (-).

SBDX (Off) –Inst. & Programming Manual Note: The main power provides the desired power to the SBDX as it charges the external batteries also.

Two 12 Volt sealed lead acid batteries (6.5 or 7 AH) can be connected in series as illustrated. The batteries should preferably be housed in a plastic box, external to the cabinet. In the event of a power failure, these batteries will supply backup power for a period of approximately 5-8 hours.

CAUTION:

a) The AC power point for the SBDX must be properly grounded. b) Do not install the system outdoors. c) Do not place the system near extreme heat (furnaces, heaters, attics, or direct sunlight). d) Do not expose the system to devices that generate electrical interference interference (such as arc welders or motors). e) Do not expose expose the system unit to moisture, corrosive gases, dust, chemicals, spray paint, or similar material. f)

Configuring Your SBDX To configure a system, one must ascertain the following requirements: a) b) c) d) e) f) g) h)

Three more additional cards can be configured along with the basic configuration of the SBDX. The basic configuration of the SBDX is 3 trunks and 8 extensions. Following are the peripheral cards that can be installed with the SBDX. a) b) c) d) e) f) g) h)

The SBDX main cabinet will have provision for one add-on slot. Any of the above peripheral cards can be installed in this add-on slot. However two more peripheral cards can be installed with the SBDX expansion module. The expansion module will be connected to the main module through a flat ribbon cable (FRC). Hardware-wise, SBDX is divided into 2 main parts. One is the power supply unit (PSU) & another is the multipurpose board. Both of these are are housed in the main module. There is also one expansion slot board attached with the multipurpose board.

SBDX Power Supply Unit SBDX PSU is a switch mode power supply based on TOP224Y chip. The ringer generated by the SBDX PSU is based on step-up transformer and TIP31C push pull transistors Trapezoidal shaped wave by low pass filter. The features of the power supply are as followsa) Universal input voltage i.e. 230V range range 180V to 260V AC. b) Two outputs are: Line voltage 24V dc dc and ringer 65Vrms, 1KHZ AC c) Main O/P voltage 24Vdc & 1.5A supply. d) Maximum power delivered is 30 Watts e) Battery backup voltage voltage 27V at max current 300mA f)

For first add-on card To JP2 of SBDX main board Connection for second shelf First Expansion Board J4 is used to connect first expansion board to the SBDX multipurpose board. J1 of first expansion board is for installing the first add-on peripheral card. There is one straight 2-row burge-pin connector, which is for connecting the second expansion board with the first expansion board. The peripheral card that will be installed on this first expansion slot will be first card. If it is line card, the numbering of extensions will be 208 to 215.

Installation of Various Add-On Piggyback Cards & P eripheral Cards The Add-on piggyback cards are installed using the burge pin connectors on board the main multipurpose board.

It is recommended that the system should be switched-off, before installing or removing any cards.

When installing cards, please ensure that they are not forced into the connectors on the back frame, as this may damage the connector pins and invariably damage the system. Slide the cards in gently making sure that a proper connectors is made, then apply firm pressure on the center of the PC Board, so that it slot tightly on to back frame. Installation of KTS Daughter PCB: JP7 connector of multipurpose board and JP10 connector of KTB daughter PCB is used to connect daughter PCB on main board. It is recommended that pins of connector should be connected one-to-one, at the same time ensuring that none of the pins are bent.

How to install add-on peripheral card SBDX will be delivered along with the provision of one add-on slot. Any one of the above peripheral cards can be installed in this add-on slot. However one more peripheral card can be installed with the SBDX’s expansion module.

Installation of Operator Console (DSS) The system can be equipped with a maximum of 1 DSS modules. DSS will occupy one digital port. If 2-port piggyback key phone PCB is installed, first port of that PCB can be used for key phone & another port can be used for DSS. One DSS will support all the 37 ports of the SBDX.

Installation of Action Port & Sensor Port SBDX provides one action port also which is known as smart switch. This facility by using action port will make the system intelligent. Basically a 5 AMP relay is used inside the SBDX to provide this action port that can be switched-on or switched-off manually or automatically as well. This action port is used as the dry switch. Arrangement for Action & Sensor Port

As explained above, smart switch can be activated or deactivated either manually or automatically. For auto activation or deactivation, SBDX provides one sensor. The state of the action port is programmable as per the output of the sensor. Means if sensor detects a loop, action port can be defined to be switched-on or switched-off. Auto activation of action port will be programmed through system programming. An extension user can activate or deactivate the action port manually from his extension by dialing a predefined code. Further, action port can be activated or deactivated through DISA call also. For example, a user who has SBDX system installed at the home and he is away from the home. If he wants to switch ON his Room Air Conditioner while sitting at the office than he will have to just dial his home telephone number and then the number assigned to the action port. Any number (just like extension number) could be assigned to action port. The output of the action port is available on J8 & the input to the sensor port will be given through J9. J8 & J9 are located on the main SBDX board.

External Music on Hold installation SBDX has the provision of inbuilt hold on music however external hold on music also can be installed & inbuilt music can be disabled. For external music, an input of 0 db, 500mv rms can be connected to the outermost pair of the RJ11 connector which is provided on SBDX main motherboard. A 2-pin shorting plug i.e. P1 is provided for selecting internal or external music. P1 should be short for internal music & should be open for external music. Installation of Paging Port The system has a provision to interface with a public address system. You can have direct access to the public address system by dialing a 2-digit code from any of the extension to make announcements. External door phone can be connected through any of the analog extension. Every door phone has one On/Off hook switch. Whenever guest standing outside, press that On/Off hook switch of door phone, any predefined extension should ring. For example, if extension A is used for door phone & whenever it is activated, extension B should be called, for this functionality, immediate hotline should be defined for extension A for the extension number B. Now whenever extension B will keep the handset On-hook, extension A also will be released automatically. For this auto release, door phone senses the cadence & frequency of the busy tone. Door phone will get activated automatically after detecting the ring voltage. It must be noted that door phone & door lock are both independent device & will have no connection between them & the operation also will be different as explained above.

Inbuilt Power Fail Cut Through (PFCT) SBDX provides inbuilt ‘PFCT’ for all 3 CO lines. In case of power failure, trunk port 700 will be available on extension 239, trunk port 701 will be available on extension 238 & trunk 700 will be available on extension 237.

Removing Cards To remove a card, first switch off the power supply and remove the PCB jumpers. Use the plastic lifters on the sides of the card to lift it off the connector on the back frame. The card can now be removed by sliding it out.

Serial Port The SBDX got one serial RS-232 port. Serial port is used for the following functions – a) To get the Incoming & Outgoing calls (SMDR details) on PC. b) To integrate integrate the Coral Call On Line –CCOL. c) GUI (Graphics (Graphics User Interface) based programming interface Terminal. d) For loading the software in system FLASH ROM. SBDX has 9-pin D-SUB connector RS-232 port that can be connected to the PC through 9pin to 9-pin serial cable or 9-pin to 25-pin D-SUB serial cable. DIP Switch Setting while installing the system initially FLASH of the SBDX will be loaded at the factory. Generally loading of the flash will not be required at customer site but in certain cases, it may be required to load the flash at site also. So SW2-1 will remain in OFF position always. It should be kept in ON position only when flash has to be loaded. While installing the SBDX first time, put SW2-2 in ON position. Install the add-on cards in the desired slot (if any add-on card is there). Switch on the system. All the cards will be initialized & the RAM of the SBDX also will be refreshed i.e. system will completely reset itself to factory setting. Once initialization is complete, all the RUN LEDs will blink faster. SBDX main board itself has 3 LEDs. One is for VTD, second for LCS & third is of main CPU. The RUN LED of main CPU is extended to the front of the cabinet. If add-on card is installed, the LED of that card also will blink fast. Now put SW2-2 in OFF position. This can be done while system is switched-on. It must be noted that if SW2-2 is not kept in off position, no system programming can be done. System programming can be done only if SW2-2 is kept in off position. Now carry out the desired programming using any of the key phone or analog extension. It also must be noted that after doing the system programming, if SW2-2 is kept in ON position & system is switched-off & switched-on again, entire system programming will reset to default setting.  If any add-on card is required to be installed in the already running system, it is recommended to reinitialize the entire system programming. Daughter PCB should be mounted on its proper place & it should be connected pin number one-to-one.

Programming Commands Bulk Range Programming The system software is designed to accept range programming where a range of extensions or trunks that require similar programming, programming, can be specified. It should be noted that all the extension or trunk numbers should be in series to affect such programming. 00 CC SE CC....

Where CC is the programming code. S is the starting parameter, which denotes starting Ext., trunk, group, etc. E is the ending perimeter, which stands for last Ext., trunk, group, etc. C`C` is the programming code. Example: To program program extensions 232 235 to have listen-in rights, the command that can be given is 00 30 232 235 31 1 where S =232 (starting extension number) and E=235 (ending extension number). Note: Parameters S & E are 3-digit numbers.

Resetting the System If it is required to refresh the system memory, following command will be required. To clear memory and set to factory default setting. (Hard (Ha rd Reset) To reset system without changing any setting. (Soft Reset).

If operator console is busy, central ringer will ring. ONE TERMINATION: Incoming CO call rings only at one defined extension. Service Group For Trunk Landing If trunk landing is defined in Round Robin, delayed ringing or simultaneous ringing mode, self-service groups also have to be defined. To define the same, command is, 91 G EX1 EX2........EX6 + H.F

Where `G’ is the group number. The value of G can be 0 to 9 means maximum 10 groups can be defined. Ex1, Ex2,......are extension numbers belonging to the service group to be assigned for incoming trunk landing. The max. Number of extensions in the self-service group can be 6 and a minimum of 1. H.F. is hook flash or hold to terminate command after programming. Example 1: Trunk 700 should be ring in round robin in day mode & the extensions numbers for round robin are 201, 202, 205, 210. & in night mode . This trunk should be ring simultaneously & the extensions for simultaneously ringing are 215,220,225,230.

For this the programming will be as First set the ringing pattern ‘42 700 01 1’. Here D - 0 for R/R & N-1 for simultaneously ringing. Now fill the groups, which will ring in D/N respectively. ‘91 0 201 202 205 210 + H.F. Here G - 0 & `91 1 215 220 220 225 230 + H.F. Here G - 1 Now set the groups for D/N mode ‘42 700 01 2’ Here D - 0 & N - 1 means in day mode group ‘0’ will ring & in night mode group ‘1’ will ring. DISA Messages Recording SBDX offers a single port voice guidance port (optional) , which can be used as an auto attendant for all incoming calls. If any trunk is defined in trunk group 9, that trunk will be removed from all other groups. So before defining the trunk groups, put all the trunks in the trunk group 9 & than define the trunks in the different trunk groups as per the requirement. By using this feature, any extension can dial the mode free bank numbers irrespective of its class of service. These special banks can be used to store such numbers (i.e. branch office numbers) , which are used by everybody. Non-mode free banks numbers can be dialed only as per the extension’s class of service. The above command has to be terminated by hook flash. By default bank numbers 110 to 154 are the Non mode free banks & 155 to 199 are the mode free banks. However the numbers of mode free banks are programmable. Where XX is the Bank No. after which all banks will be mode free. For example, if the value of XX is 15, bank no 115 to 199 will be mode free banks. Change System Password To enter into the programming mode, SBDX requires a 4 digit password. By default it is `1234’. Using this command, system password can be re-programmed to prohibit unauthorized access to system programming. The command is, 81 NNNN NNNN 1

Where NNNN is the new password pressed twice. Please note that if the password is forgotten there is no way to retrieve it or change it. The password can be set back to its default setting of 1234 only by disconnecting the power supply to the RAM chip of the system (please contact system Engineer).

Auto Change Over Timings SBDX can work in two modes that is `Day’ mode & `Night’ mode for different behavior of various features. There are two ways to switch-over the mode of the system from day to night or vice-versa. a) Manual Change-over. b) Auto change-over. In auto change-over mode, at the predefined timing, SBDX will changeover its mode automatically. While it can be changed manually also (refer D/N mode changeover manually). If system is switched-over manually, auto change-over will take over at the predefined timings. This command is used to define the auto day & night changeover timings. Host Computer Interface If an external client application is interfaced with SBDX, all the call billing information will be sent to the computer through serial port. All the handshaking packets that are required for interfacing, client application will send (for various handshaking packets, Sometimes, it is required to retransmit the call data to client application or sometimes it is required to stop the transmission of the call details to the client application. Host Always Ready If an external client application is integrated with SBDX, SBDX will send all the call details to the client application. SBDX expects the acknowledgement of each & every call also from the HOST (client application). If host is not sending the ack of the call, SBDX will not send the next call packet to the host. (For details, refer SBDX CTI Manual) But sometimes, due to some reason, host cannot send the acknowledgement of the call. Host waits for the call details without sending the ack for the call. So in such a case, DX is supposed to send the calls information without waiting for the call acknowledgement. Chapter 3 Cost Table & Code Table SBDX has its own cost table & code table to calculate the charges of of the made calls. The COST TABLE is used for defining the pulse rate for each time zone & the charges also for one unit & the service charge for one call. The CODE TABLE is used for entering the various STD/ ISD codes and their corresponding entry in the COST TABLE for calculating the charges.

Cost Table Please refer the Cost table, which is attached at the end of this document. Cost Table can be defined to calculate the call charges as per the DOT tariff plan. The cost table is in the form of a matrix of 25 rows and 16 columns. In this, the first row is significant in the sense that it contains the various time zones. The time zones are used to calculate the call charges at different rate at the different time of the day. Basically time zones are useful for STD / ISD calls because DOT charges at different rate at the different timings of the day. In the default setting, the following are the time zones. The entries for the various zones are to be made in the first row. The first column of the first row is for zone 1 and and the default entry is 06:00, which is the end time for the first zone. The start time of the first zone is 00:00. In the table, only end time of the zone is shown. The start time of a zone will be the end time of the previous zone. There is provision for 2 more zones, which can be utilized wherever required. In the default condition, these 2 zones are not utilized and the entries in these columns are 24:00. The 13th and the 14th column of row 1 are used for entering the start time & end time for holiday rate calculation (Applicable only if Holiday rates are enabled). The default Holiday rate start time is 08:00 and the Holiday rate end end time is 19:00. The 15th & 16 th column in the first row is not used and the default entries in these columns are 0. The second row is used for entering the default cost table for local calls. As explained earlier, the columns 1 to 10 contain the various time zones. Now starting from the second row and th upto the 25 row, the entries in the columns 1 to 10 must contain the pulse rate for the corresponding time zone. In the case of local calls, there are no concessional rates. Hence in the second row, all the entries from column 1 to column 10 will be 1800, which corresponds to 180 seconds (i.e.) 3 minutes. If it is required to change the pulse rate of a local call as 5 minutes then the entries in columns 1 to 10 of second row must be 3000. The 13 column of row 2 is used for enabling or disabling holiday rates. `0001’ in this column enables holiday rates for local calls & `0000’ disables holiday rates. The default entry in this column is 0 (i.e.) holiday rate is disabled for local calls. The 14th column is used for entering the pulse rate for holiday. The default entry is 1800. Code Table This table is used for entering the various STD / ISD codes. It is also possible to enter local numbers in the cost table. This will be used for implementing the different charges for Inter dialing numbers. For example if it is required to have the charge calculations corresponding to row 10 for STD code 011, the entry in the CODE TABLE must be 10 for the code 01100. Similarly, the entries must be made in the code table for each code. Chapter 4 ASMDR Reports Call Buffer Management in SBDX - Office Version a) SBDX has a call buffer of 3200 3200 calls. Out of 3200 calls, 500 is reserved reserved for incoming call details (answered & unanswered call both) & 2700 is reserved for outgoing calls. b) SBDX will keep incoming & outgoing calls stored stored in its buffer. Once an outgoing call is terminated, call will be stored in the system buffer. c) Incoming calls will be logged into call terminator’s account. d) If call buffer is full, oldest call will be deleted to save save the new call. Means FIFO system is used to maintain the call buffer. e) To interface with a client application for call details, SBDX requires a Handshaking packet from the client application to establish the handshaking. `%H$’ is the Handshaking packet. f)

SBDX requires the acknowledgement of every call individually. Means on sending of a call packet, SBDX will not send the next call packet until it receives the Call ACK packet for the last call from the client application.

g) On receiving the Call ACK packet for a call, SBDX will mark that call as Àcknowledged call’ in its buffer. h) Acknowledged calls also will be deleted from the system buffer immediately. immediately. Calls will be deleted only as per the FIFO system. & if as per the FIFO system, a call is supposed to be deleted than that call will be deleted either it is acknowledged or unacknowledged call. i)

If does not not receive the ACK packet packet for a call, SBDX will stop the sending of the calls & it will keep on storing the calls in its buffer. In such a case, SBDX will keep this call stored as `Sent but unacknowledged’. Such type of calls will be transmitted again on receiving the CALL NACK Packet from the Client application.

As soon as a outgoing call is finished, the details of that outgoing call gets recorded in the system call buffer. As explained earlier, SBDX hosts a Cost Table & Code Table also to calculate the cost of the calls. (Refer the chapter `Cost Table & Code Table). There is a printer port with the SBDX CPU. Through this printer port, all the calls details can be printed in a predefined format. Outgoing calls through SBDX can be made using Account Codes, Walking Class of Service. So with call string, SBDX notifies the method, you adopted to make the call.

Clarification of the SUFFIX that gets printed with the call details Note that with each & every call, a suffix i.e. Ò’ or `T’ or `X’ will be printed. The meaning of the suffix will be as follows – Case 1 - If STD/ISD calls sharing is disabled

For Local/STD/ISD, if originator is also the terminator of the call, Ò’ will be printed as a suffix with the call. If a STD / ISD call is transferred by the originator to some other extension, the entire call will be logged into the account of the terminator with a suffix `X’. Coral Telecom Ltd.

Chapter 5 Remote Programming Remote Programming (Requires daughter PCB of Mini Voice Mail & Operator Key Phone)

Remote programming is the simplest way to attend the service calls if the machine requires changes in the software programming. This programming can be carried out over the telephone line. Establish conversation with the required EPABX. Ask customer to transfer transfer the call to Main Operator. (Should be key telephone). Ask customer to press HOLD + PROG key. When the customer presses the PROG key. The system goes to remote mode. Now it is up to customer to place the hand set, or he can keep viewing viewing the programming done by the Engineer. Now start programming from remote end. Dial command directly without any password. Hear confirmation tone and press # key to enter the next program. To come out from the programming mode, external caller has to just hang up. SBDX will release that trunk within next 30 seconds.

Chapter 6 CTI Interfacing Communication parameters of the RS232 port of SBDX The SBDX has one serial RS-232 port. Through this serial port, PC based external applications can be interfaced with SBDX such as Call billing software or Coral Call On-Line (CCOL). All the external PC based applications are optional. The serial asynchronous RS232 interface of some PCs is equipped with a DB25 connector, while others are equipped with a DB9 connector. Currently the RTS/CTS protocol is not in use. But the client application must assert RTS Signal so that in future if this handshaking becomes active then also the client application remains compatible. The Client application must not wait for any CTS signal, as on today but CTS wait must be kept optional for future compatibility. Before connecting the serial port of the computer to the RS232 port of DX, switch off the system & then connect the cable.

Flow Control There is no specific flow control is required. However whenever RTS/CTS handshaking comes in action, then client application can place the RTS lead of the interface into false state. The SBDX port is full duplex and it can send or receive data simultaneously.

External Applications that can be interfaced through serial port of SBDX SBDX can be interfaced with Coral Call Billing Software (optional). This application will provide all the outgoing as well as incoming call details. It must be noted that SBDX will generate the incoming call string only for those calls, which had carried CLI. SBDX can be interfaced with Coral Call On Line Application (optional). After installing this application on a PC of extension user, his extension also will be mapped with this application. Once an incoming call lands on his extension, one pop-up screen will be appeared on his PC. It will show the CLI also (if CLI is detected on trunk). If it is internal call, it will show the caller extension number. This application may have its database also. Using that database, Pop-up window can show the caller’s name and other add-on information also. Coral Call on Line Client application can be installed on multiple PCs. For that all the PCs should be on network with static TCP/IP addresses.

Chapter 7 Configuration of Piggyback baby PCBs Configuration of KTS baby PCB After installing the KTS Baby PCB as explained in the hardware setup, 2 number KTS can be connected to MDF cable as explained in the `Main Distribution Frame’ explanation. There is no command required for configuring the 2 number key telephones. Ensure while plugging-in or plugging-out any of the baby PCB, system is switched-off.

Configuration of Voice Mail baby PCB Voice Mail baby PCB can be utilized for the following purposes – a. Auto Attendant. b. Mailbox facility For Àuto Attendant functionality’, system administrator has to record the various auto attendant messages (refer system programming). For `Mailbox facility’, enable the mailbox facility for the desired extension & enable the `call forward no reply to voice mail’. (refer user manual).

Configuration of GSM Router First ensure that the SBDX main board should have the microcontroller GTD. With GTD, first trunk port of the main SBDX board configures as GSM port automatically. With VTD, first trunk port is configured as analog trunk i.e. CO trunk port. After plugging-in the GSM router in the specified location (as explained in the hardware setup), do the following jumper setting on the main SBDX board. JP13 -

Pins 2-3 should be short for GSM port & Pin 1-2 should be short for ordinary.

JP14 -

Pins 2-3 should be short short for GSM port & Pin 1-2 should be short for ordinary ordinary trunk port.

JP16 -

Pins 2-3 should be short short for GSM port & Pin 1-2 should be short for ordinary ordinary trunk port.

JP17 -

Short for GSM port & open for ordinary ordinary trunk port. port.

GSM trunk port should be configured in decadic. Y default all the trunk ports are configured in DTMF so ensure that GSM trunk port i.e. 700 is configured in decadic.

For CLI capturing on the incoming call through GSM, enable the CLI on analog trunk. Any key telephone user of the SBDX, can access the external IVR (interactive voice response) through GSM port also.

Chapter 8 How to load the FLASH Software Sometimes it may be required to load the flash again to upgrade the system software. For this you need to have one PC based utility SBDX_LOAD. This utility is available on request. To install the same, copy all the files of SBDX_Load in any of the sub-directory of your PC. Now click on Setup.Exe. `SBDX_Load’ will be installed & program group `SBDX_Load’ will be add in your programs. Copy desired SBDX Flash SW in your PC. To run SBDX_Load, go to RUN + Programs. Click on SBDX_Load program & following window will be displayed on your PC.

Now to upgrade the FLASH Software, follow the steps a) Define the serial port of your PC & Baud Rate. Baud rate should be 4800. 4800. Ensure that your PC is connected to the SBDX through serial port of SBDX. b) Select the desired Flash SW file. c)

Switch-off the SBDX.

d) Put DIP SW SW2-1 SW2-1 of the SBDX SBDX in ON position.
