Nowadays it is assumed that technology will lead to prosperity and development of societies. In this research, main argument is that, this statement is not to be taken for granted. In order to do so; the said technology has to satisfy certain conditions. Technology is nothing but making, modifications, usage and knowledge of tools, machines, techniques, crafts systems and method of organization, in order to solve a problem, improve a pre-existing solution to a problem, achieve a goal, handle an applied input-output relation or perform a specific functions. Technology and Society interact together strongly. Technologies are having great impact on societies. Such impacts can be negative as well. Social phenomena and needs leads to changes in traditional technologies. Experiences have shown that technologies may change the subject, structures, habits and inherited local knowledge of societies. Ethical and spiritual values might also be shaken by certain technologies. Technology affects to a great extent, the economy of societies, education system and gender issues.
