Ketika roller bergerak keluar, pulley bergerak mendekat ke drive face belt dan pulley bergerak keluar maka kecepatan bertambah.
Seperti penjelasan di atas tampak k opling membuka, karena gaya CF kopling bersentuhan dengan rumah kopling ban belakang mulai berputar.
Ketika roller bergerak pada posisi paling atas, pulley semakin dekat dengan drive face. Posisi inilah posisi gir tertinggi pada kecepatan tinggi.
