Braveheart - Description

BRAVEHEART arranged by Luca Stricagnoli ENGLISH: The first tab refers to guitar. It’s possible to just use a standard guitar, but also a baritone guitar tuned in: AEADEA with capo III. The guitars I use are built by Davide Serracini. The Xs marked on the strings (in this case only on the 6th) show where you must hit with your thumb. The second tab shows the percussions which are not played on the strings but on the guitar body. The third and fourth tab show the two harmonicas, C and G respectively. I use two Hohner Special 20 and fix them in parallel on the guitar’s side with Blu-tack, doing so makes it easier to switch from one to the other, I chose to do so to avoid using a harmonica neck brace which would complicate the use of the recorder. The fifth and final tab shows the recorder part, which must only be played with the right hand: to do so the fifth hole must be closed with some sticky tape. The recorder I use is a Honer B9511. ITALIANO: Il primo spartito è riferito alla chitarra. E’ possibile usare una chitarra standard ma anche una baritona accordata in AEADEA con il capotasto al III. Le chitarre che utilizzo sono costruite dal liutaio Davide Serracini. Le “x” poste sulle corde (in questo caso solo sulla sesta) indicano un colpo di pollice sulla corda in questione. Il secondo spartito sono le percussioni che vengono fatte al di fuori delle corde, quindi sulla cassa armonica. Il terzo e il quarto spartito si riferiscono a due armoniche a bocca, rispettivamente in C e in G. Io utilizzo delle Hohner Special 20 e le fisso alla fascia della chitarra utilizzando del Patafix, in modo tale da poter passare da una all’altra senza problemi e anche per non usare il sostegno per armonica, che ostacolerebbe l’utilizzo del flauto. L’ultimo spartito si riferisce al flauto dolce, che deve essere suonato con la sola mano destra: per riuscirci, occorre chiudere il quinto buco in alto con del nastro adesivo. Il flauto che utilizzo è un Hohner B9511.
