SCOPE OF THIS ADDENDUM 1. This project addendum specification (PA) defines additional requirements for Bangka Topside EPCI Project, Indonesia Deepwater Development. 2. This Addendum extends the general Chevron Engineering Standard (CES) document PIM-SU-3.00-A, Piping Service Classes and Materials Requirements. 3. Paragraph number in this specification is the same as PIM-SU-3.00-A. Changes to requirements in PIM-SU-3.00-A are identified as: (ADD) – Indicates the following statement(s) is/are added to the CES referenced text. (DELETE) – Indicates the following statement(s) is/are deleted from the CES referenced text. (REPLACE WITH) – Indicates the following statement(s) is/are revision(s) to the CES referenced text. 4. In case of conflict, requirements in this PA take precedence, but in no case will a less stringent requirement be used unless clearly stated in this PA that the requirement specifically replaces the more stringent requirement. 5. Deletions, Additions, and replacements to the CES document are detailed in the following sections. A copy of the CES should accompany this standard. All clauses in PIM-SU-3.00-A shall be applicable except for the changed indicated herein. Changes to the specification: The following section/paragraph numbers correspond to those in CES PIM-SU-3.00-A, Piping Service Classes and Materials Requirements document.

HEADER SIZE NOTES 01 Where “Calc” is shown, the Pressure limit may be lower than full flange rating 02 All Butt-welded component thickness shall match pipe thickness Threaded joints are permitted only at outlet of vent and drain valves, at hydrostatic connections, at outlet of instrument take 03 – off valves and to match equipment. Integrally reinforced branch connections are permitted outside the sizes shown in the branch connection tables for special 04 applications. PWHT requirements shall be as per applicable Code. 05 T/SW valves shall be used only for vent, drain and instrument connections. 06 These valves have no flanges, but are installed between line flanges with extra length bolts. 07 Full port valves shall be used when indicated on the P&ID 08 Pressure and temperatures may be limited. Refer to manufactures’s restrictions 09 Provide flat face flanges adjacent to flat face equipment nozzles. 10 Use full-face gaskets at flat face flanges. 11 To be used when mating to flanged nozzles. 12 To be used only when indicated on P&ID 13 Install in horizontal position with cover up 14 Install in horizontal position with cover up or in vertical position with upward flow 15 Install in horizontal position with hinge pin vertical or in vertical position with upward flow. 16 Ultrasonic examination is acceptable in lieu of radiography and must be approved in writing Use of austenitic stainless steel piping is limited to 140OF (60OC) due to chloride stress corrosion cracking. Consult owner’s 17 metallurgist for applications requiring higher design temperatures. 18 Valve TAG Number - HOLD 19 The Indicated wall thickness are inclusive of corrosion allowance and mill tolerance.
