As more and more Lutwae assets were released to the German Army or deence, the FlaK Nest became an excellent complement to a static deensive positions. It’s ability to deend against light armour and inantry and still hold the ‘Jabos ’ at bay provided a fexible response to advancing enemy orces. Tough immobile, its heavy bunkering kept it sae rom all but the highest calibre guns. Additionally the high rate o re o the quad 20mm guns delivers a devastating attack on armoured transports and assaulting inantry. Anchoring your deence around a ew FlaK Nest gives the enemy a tough nut to crack. Overlapping re o two or more FlaK Nest can halt even the largest Soviet assault ormations.
flAk neStS in your CompAny Placing 2cm FlaK 38 anti-aircrat guns at roo top level in local houses gave them cover and concealment while still being able to re as anti-aircrat and anti-personnel weapons. Tis was especially eective against Soviet aircrat and advancing Red Army inantry.
Te Germans generally built their FlaK Nests in abandoned buildings, lling up the areas below and around the Flak Nest with rubble to prevent collapse, increase survivability and to limit entry. FlaK Nests are thereore open bunkers and not buildings and cannot be entered by any team. You can either model your FlaK Nest on ground level or as a single story building with a base size equal to an Artillery base. I it is destroyed it becomes a destroyed bunker and is Impassable terrain.
