The loss in mass resultin from the wash treatment is calculated as mass "ercent of the oriinal sam"le and is re"orted as the "ercentae of material finer than a 75-μm (No. 200) sieve by washin. Si'nifi$an$e and se aterial finer than the 75-μm (No. 200) sieve can be se"arated from larer "articles much more efficiently and com"letely by wet sievin than with dry sievin.
