settlement stat block for the Town of Four Trails. I’m still not sure whether I want to include this into Lumaras, so I’ll just keep the stat block on this
document. I may figure out a better place for the settlement stat block later on. Assault on Eddistone Point by

Event/Encounter Outline Arbordale PF Start: The Pathfinder Society has learned that the Mayor of the Town of Four Trails is seeking adventurers to find a missing party that was going to cast continual flame on the Town of Four Trails ●

Hiring Process (Monologue?) The immediate phase of the adventure/very first session will be me giving the players context for
the mountain range and its politics. Refer to the Setting Background for more information. Travel Conditions: hampered movement of poor visibility. 4 miles of plains and 5 miles of mountain to “Hey, I found the mercenaries!” (20 ft – 4 hours 41 minutes; 30
ft – 3 hours 7 minutes); 3 miles of mountain to signal tower (20 ft – 1 hour 45 minutes, 30 ft – 1 hour 10 minutes). ●
Bodies Found. Development: Perception DC 17 to discover five dead stripped mercenaries (refer to pages 22-23).

If the PCs fail this check by five or more ( 10 or less), they fall down the chute, bringing Huril down with them, down onto the mountain below, and s ustain 6d6 lethal damage.

Commented [1]: In the adventure, it says that the character would sustain 20d6 lethal falling damage. That's probably realistic and also characteristic to the deadly nature of early D&D. But I don't want to kill character will nilly.
