This speeds up the learning process. 2. Repeat learning procedure if the LED does not switch OFF. See chapter 3.6.4. This error may be caused by a faulty motor. Before replacement check connectors X10 and X4 to make sure that motor and encoder are correctly connected. This error may be caused by someone pushing the door or by a faulty motor. Before replacement: 1. Check that nothing is obstructing the door. 2. If using a DC-motor, check connector X4 to make sure that motor is correctly connected. This error may be caused by a faulty PCB or motor. Before replacement check if motor cable has clear signs of damage. 1. Check that nothing is blocking the door movement. 2. NOTE! Setting the wrong coupler width increases the mechanical stress for the coupler and the door significantly. Running the door for long periods with the wrong setting may wear out components. Special attention should be used when glass doors are used. Select the correct dip-switch configuration based on the coupler type. With railing 1, use R2 coupler setting. No coupler OFF OFF

The learn button clears the memory from earlier settings: for example, LL-dimension, rotation direction and encoder’s position information. Settings like speed and acceleration will remain. NOTE! Push learn button after changing motor or electric board. If reference switch is moved or changed, see AM-03.35.020 for further instructions. Learning drive: Set the door panels to the zero-position manually and start the learning drive (4 full door cycles using OPEN and CLOSE buttons). The offset position of reference switch will be automatically stored.

3.8.1
Gen er al
Expanded I/O board is needed for interfacing the AMD door operator to old relay or competitor elevator control systems. AMD operator requires +24 VDC voltage, but with Expanded I/O voltage can be 20 – 250 VDC or 40 – 250 VAC. This board features total galvanic isolation of the elevator controller and AMD door electronics. Built in flexible logic allows also to handle different customer requests (for example, command continuous, swing door modes, retiring ramp mode, special reopening features).
3.8.2
Versions rsions of of the Expa xpande nded I/ I/O boa board rd unit unit
NOTE! NOTE! With drive 10, set drive 10 board DIP switch S1/4 to ON. When using COL power save function and commands are removed from the board, D10 switches COL OFF (X15/45). When COL is OFF, the power from the expanded I/O board is also OFF. Standard Standard version Expanded I/O board is in a hard bo x on car top. The internal AMD +24 V photo cell supply can be used for supplying the Expanded I/O board.
North America version Board direct in the C-profile nearby electronic, motor and transformer. The 24 VDC supply is taken from AMD drive. Board set (Expanded I/O and power supply board) For mounting board near the elevator controller (e .g. inside controller box). The 24 VDC supply is d one by external supply board.
