ARIFLEX Rubber Insulation Foam Tube & Foam Sheet
ARIFLEX Elastomeric Insulation foam tubes and foam sheets are manufactured by a continuous extrusion process. ARIFLEX tubes and sheets are specially designed to provide a close cell structure.
Characteristics and Advantages Low thermal conductivity ( K value), makes it highly efficient and effective in the insulation of cooling or heating systems. The thermal blister close cell structure forms an impermeable layer which is in itself a good vapour barrier. It is suitable for application within the temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The material has been specially compounded to selfextinguish in nature ARIFLEX has excellent ozone and ultraviolet resistance.
Technology
It is CFC, asbestos, chlorine and fiber free and does not cause skin allergy.
ARIL has the latest proceeding facilities to produce consintent products like ARIFLEX elastomeric insulation foam tubes and foam sheets that are meeting the international standards. A Rheometer ensures batch to batch consistency.
It is inert to most chemical agents and neutral to pipe metals. The extreme flexibility of the materials makes installation fast, easy and economical.
Raw materials are imported from well renowned international manufacturers. ARIL has stock available at all times to meet the requirements of clients in a very short period.
It is able to withstand tearing, rough handling and severe site conditions.
Our special technology produces tubing and sheeting whose chemical structure and chemical composition makes it resistant to microorganism, ozone oils and most solvents. The Internal and external skin permits exceptional resistance to water and vapour allowing the installer an easy application as the tubing and sheeting slips on the piping.
Compared to other types of insulation, ARIFLEX needs less installation space due to its low K-value. This results in overall thinner walls. The smooth surface of ARIFLEX material gives the finished installation a neat and aesthetic appearance. No coating is necessary for most indoor installations.

Quality Control & Technical Specification
Quality Control ARIL manufactures ARIFLEX Rubber insulation Foam Tube and sheets to fine tolerance and consistency meeting national and international specifications. ARIL has well equipped laboratory for testing all the regular required tests to confirm the consistent quality of the Foam Tube and sheet like Rheological test, Density test etc. ARIL technical personnel on being given service condition and specification can develop suitable product from initial engineering, design, tooling, compounding processing and manufacturing to meet the requirement of the customer. All finished goods are 100% visually inspected.

Table 4 - ARIFLEX Foam Tube Standard Sizes and Package details Std. carton size : L X B X H = 1885 mm x 310 mm x 340 mm
Installation ARIFLEX Foam Tube installs easily and quickly. No special tools are needed. A factory applied coating of talc on the smooth inner surface allows ARIFLEX to slide easily over the pipe or tubing. When applied to existing lines, ARIFLEX foam tube is slit lengthwise and fitted into the place. A sharp knife is used for slitting. All seams and butt joints should be sealed with an approved contact adhesive, to make sure that both joint surfaces to be joined are coated with adhesive. Proper installtion is critical to the insulation’s performance. It is important to properly size the insulation, push (don’t pull) the insulation over the pipe or tubing and finally seal all seams, butt joints and open ends.
