I wrote this pattern for a 1-ltr. Coca-Cola bottle. If you don’t have this bottle, you can easily adjust the pattern. I describe the pattern step by step so you can make the crochet parts bigger or smaller. You only need the lower part from this bottle - and the bottleneck is perfect for a bottle table Let’s get started …

Draw with a marker pen the cutting line on the bottle and then cut out the shape.
After you cut out the chair, you can spray it with spray paint (acrylic spray). The chair still looks a little bit uncomfortable, so you need to crochet two pieces, to make it really cozy.
1. Crochet the rounds from the written pattern until the bottom of the chair is covered (detailed instructions with the wool Mouzakis Butterfly Super 10 see page 4). 2. After this, crochet 2 rounds without increasing so that your piece looks like a hemisphere. 3. Then you start to work in rows. If you crochet rows, you need to turn your work, don’t forget to make a turning chain.

4. Now decrease the stitches at the beginning and the end of the rows. At the end, the crocheted backrest should be a little bit longer than the backrest of your plastic chair. 5. Crochet around this piece with sc in the same color. This part is finished, but if you like, you can crochet around one more time and you can use a different color or make another stitch (Picot, waves). At the end of this pattern you will find some examples.
