Affidavit of Discrepancy

I, _____________________________, of legal age, Filipino, single/married, and a resident of ______________________________________________, after having been duly sworn to in accordance with law, hereby depose and state: That – 1. I am the true and registered owner of a certain parcel of land, covered by Transfer Certificate of Title (TCT) No. _________, more particularly described therein as follows: (TCT technical description)  ___________________________ _________________________________   _______________________________________________________ _____   _______________________________________________________  ___________________________ _________________________________  _____   _______________________________________________________  ___________________________ _________________________________  _____   _____________________________________________________  ___________________________ _________________________________  _______   _______________________________________________________  ___________________________ ______________________________ 2. On ____________, I secured from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), a certified true copy of the technical description of the aforementioned aforementioned parcel of land, which read as follows: (Technical description from the DENR)  ___________________________ _________________________________   _______________________________________________________ _____   _______________________________________________________  ___________________________ _________________________________  _____   _______________________________________________________  ___________________________ _________________________________  _____   ________________________________________________  ___________________________ _____________________ 3. Upon perusal of both the TCT and the technical description from the DENR, it was discovered that the technical description in the TCT was erroneously written as “____________________” , instead of the true and correct description per DENR as “_______________________________________” .

4. The said discrepancy in the TCT was an error done inadvertently; 5. I execute this Affidavit of Discrepancy to attest to the truth of the foregoing facts, and for the correction thereof in the TCT by the Register of Deeds.
