Die gute Funktion und die optimale Leistungswiedergabe der mechanischen Bestandteile sind in erster Linie von einer dauernden und konstanten Wartung abhängig. LESEN SIE DAS GESAMTE HANDBUCH DURCH um eine richtige ordentliche und ausserordentliche Wartung durchführen zu können. Das Unterlassen der aufgeführten Hinweise kann die Lebensdauer und die Funktionsweise des Getriebes beeinträchtigen und zu Schäden und Verletzungen des Bedienungspersonales führen. Im Falle von Fehlern oder Anomalien garantiert ein zeitgerechter Eingriff von spezialisiertem Personal eine längere Lebensdauer der Gruppe und verhindert somit grosse Schäden auf lange Zeit gesehen.

CONSULT THIS MANUAL THOROUGHLY, as proper functioning and good efficiency of mechanical organs depends mostly on constant and correct routine and extraordinary maintenance which could promote the integrity and duration of the transmission and avoid damages or any harm to the operator. In case of any damages or anomalies, quick intervention of specialized personnel can avoid future impairment and lengthen the working life.

Die Anleitung zur Demontage und Montage des Getriebes ermöglicht eine komplette Revision der Gruppe. Die Vorgangsweise wird in Arbeitsschritten beschrieben, und mittels Abbildungen veranschaulicht, womit eine sichere Arbeitsweise gewährleistet werden soll. In der Beschreibung wird vorausgesetzt, dass das Getriebe vom Fahrzeug ausgebaut worden ist. In Bezug auf den Ausbau des Getriebes von der Maschine wird auf das entsprechende, beim Hersteller erhältliche Handbuch verwiesen. Die genau Kenntnis der Gruppe erlaubt ein richtiges Abschätzen des aufgetretenen Problemes. Das heisst es kann gezielt eingegriffen werden ohne dass die ganze Gruppe demontiert werden muss.

The disassembly/assembly procedures have been outlined for a total group overhauling. They have also been described in sequence through photographs with relevant explanation for specific interventions, thus obtaining a complete and safe guide for each and every phase of an operation. Operation description presumes that the transmission has already been removed from the ve hicle. The manual supplied by the vehicle manufacturer should be consulted in case of a overhauling or maintenance intervention requiring the removal of the final drive. Moreover, the attentive group inspection leads to a correct repair work estimation that could merely require dismounting only few components, and thus operating partially on the group.

GENERAL INFORMATION

A.3 General description

Das Getriebe darf nur von spezialisiertem Fachpersonal, welches über eine genaue Kenntnis des Produktes verfügt, und unter Beachtung der entsprechenden entsprechend en Sicherheitsvorschriften Sicherheitsv orschriften kontrolliert und/oder repariert werden (Unfallverhütung).

Before performing any operation it is advisable to carry out transmission cleaning accurately by removing oil/ grease encrustations and accumulation.

Die ausgebauten mechanischen Bestandteile des Getriebes müssen alle mit entsprechendem Reinigungsmittel gereinigt werden, um eventuelle Schäden zu vermeiden. Die Teile sind auf Abnützungen hin zu prüfen, und im Falle von Schäden, Rissen, Fressen oder Defekten jeglicher Art, welche die gute Funktion des Getriebes beeinträchtigen könnten, zu ersetzen. Vor allem müssen alle Teile die ständig unter Bewegung stehen (Lager, Zahnräder, Wellen) und deren Dichtungen (O-Ringe, Dichtungsringe) auf Abnütz Abn ützung ungen en hin geprüf gep rüftt werden, wer den, da diese die se starke sta rker r Beanspruchung ausgesetzt sind. Es wird empfohlen die Dichtungen bei jeder Wartung oder Reparatur zu erneuern.

Please read the disassembly instructions very carefully because some operations are destructive for some transmission components and that means that they should be replaced with new ones, because when dismantled, they are destroied. Please read carefully the description of the single steps, to avoid compromising the good operation of the whole unit.

Rotating parts (bearings, gears, shafts) and that of hardware/fasteners (O-Ring, oil seals) should be examined carefully, as they are subject to major stress, wearing and ageing. We advise replacing the seals after each maintenance or repair operation.

Reinigung

Cleaning

Alle beweglichen Teile (Zahnräder, Lager etc.) gut mit Diesel oder Kerosin reinigen. Benzin oder alkalische Lösungsmittel sind zu vermeiden. Nicht mit Wasser oder Dampf reinigen, da die Oberfläche feucht bleiben würde. Alle Teile mit Druckluft oder einem Lappen gut trocknen um eventuelle Rückstände, die die Oberfläche verkratzen könnten, zu entfernen. Um Oxydation zu vermeiden sind alle Oberflächen leicht einzufetten.

Wash all moving parts (gears, bearings, etc.) accurately with diesel fuel or kerosene. Avoid gasoline and watery alkaline solutions. Do not wash with steam or hot water, as it will be very difficult to eliminate surface humidity. Dry all parts with a rag or air jet to avoid scratching from abrasive residuals. All surfaces surf aces should be covered with lubricant so as to protect it from future oxidation.
