PRACH Parameter Planning

In $ong !er+ %olution ($!%) syste+s# rando+ a""ess is i+portant for initial 9% a""ess# handoer i+ple+entation# "onne"tion reesta*lish+ent# and re"oery of uplin; ti+e>fre4uen"y syn"hroni?ation. Co+pared with deter+inisti" s"heduling in the uplin; and downlin;# rando+ a""ess has the following "hara"teristi"s, 

9%s sele"t prea+*les for networ; a""ess at a rando+ o""asion.



!he a""ess result is rando+. etwor; a""ess +ay fail. !o resole this pro*le+# the rando+ a""ess "ontrol algorith+ is used to i+proe the rando+ a""ess su""ess rate.

Prea+*les with different adoff-Chu (C) se4uen"es are orthogonal. !herefore# different C se4uen"es "onfigured for neigh*oring "ells help preent prea+*le "ollisions during rando+ a""ess. &uring P'CH para+eter planning# C se4uen"es +ust *e planned to ensure that prea+*les with opti+al dete"tion perfor+an"e are allo"ated to high-speed "ells and that different prea+*les are allo"ated to neigh*oring "ells.
