STARTER CLUTCH ISSUES

We h W have h heard d rumors th thatt th the roller ll cage clutch l t h has h failed on a couple of units. At around 8,200 hours and 700 starts it was recommended that we replace ours before it fails and possibly destroy the gearbox. We replaced l d it it, the th removed d clutch l t h was inspected i t d it was without any blemishes. So before I go and replace the clutch on a routine basis I'm inquiring as to what the other users are doing. My Questions Has any y user experienced p a failure of the starting g clutch? Has anyone replaced a clutch and seen damage to the clutch that would in their opinion if left alone cause a failure. failure

Attemperator Systems •

We are planning W l i to add dd a desuperheater d h system to our plant. Does anyone have experience or knowledge with a superheat bypass system? We are looking into the SH bypass as an alternative option to the final stage spray water system.

LM2500 Six Pack PT Blade Twist

Dear U D Users, From an inspection from the exhaust diffusor we found from 4 neighboring blades (S6B) interlocking tip shrouds disengagement The FSR just pushed them back and once disengagement. in the shop no dimensional deviations could be determined. However, not so confident and would like to know if anybody else has same or comparable experience and root cause. Thanks.
