Problem

The following errors occur sporadically: At the start or at the self test of of the IMC15: Calibration error (not calibrated). Errors with the self test drive (DrivePerm). Magnetic bearing position or integrator error error (XFlt and/or ItFlt). Position error and field weakening weakening error (XFlt + DrFldWk). Internal under-voltage under-voltage error (U15N_UN or or U15P_UN). • • •

Defective electronic component in the sensor circuit of the magnetic bearing regulation. The problem first occurs after an operating time of about 4 years. This applies to IMC15 up to and including serial number AAZUO.
Dongle plug CCK1

Mecos developed a dongle plug which solves this problem. Starting in November 2012, Sales is sending, bit by bit, the "dongle plug replacement part set" in sufficient quantity to all subsidiaries and representatives. As soon as the replacement part sets are available, in the course of service missions which take place anyway: 1. Shut down the laser laser and turn off the main switch. 2. Plug the dongle dongle plug CCK1 into the free socket "X1 ECA6/CAN" in the housing of the IMC. Duration: ca. 20 min. This measure can also be performed by the customer. The retrofit instructions come with the replacement part set. The dongle plug solves the problem for IMC15s which are already damaged. 1
If the dongle plug is unintentionally plugged into a new IMC15 (starting with serial number AAZUP) because it has no effect on the function. Mecos will bear the material costs. The TRUMPF subsidiary or the agency which performs the measure bears all of the costs. SIS
