 iHow to install Macintosh OS on ASUS A43SJ Laptops

Installing Macintosh on your Asus A43SJ Laptop. This tutorial will show you how to install Mac OS to your Asus Laptop which probably known as Hackintosh. Why? because the Mac OSX are installed in a machine which are non-apple machine. Before we begin, in this tutorial i am using Niresh Lion 12945. Maybe if you’re using the other method ( iAtkos, iDeneb, iHazard ) etc, are actually fine to follow this tutorial. PS : Asus A43SJ are 100% compatible with Mac OSX This is the screenshot of the successful installation, where you can see the menubar are translucent.

And this is my Asus system specifications which detected properly.

Backup your important files and documents to your external devices Ready your Mac OSX Installation disc. Insert your disc to your DVD-ROM Restart from your windows There will be appear some texts on your upper right corner of your asus screen, just let it be 6. You will entering the boot selections phase. Choose Niresh12945, don’t chose the other because they are the HDD of Windows. 7. Before choosing Niresh12945, make sure you’re typed -v 8. Click enter and the kernel process will run automatically For some kernel errors when you’re already inside this mode, probably ready your camera to give it a shot and post it on some Hackintosh official forums like tonymacx86 to tonymacx86 to earn great solutions and fix.

9. You will enter ‘Mac OS Installation’ phase tab. t ab. Utilities. Click it, expand it and 10. You will see on the menubar, known as Utilities. choose Disk Utility


What do i do with the Disk Utility? In this tutorial, i have installed my mac so i can’t give you the exact same pictures. But don’t worry, i will write it down simply and easily for you to understand. So, in the disk utility you will have to partition your HDD into a new partition which supported by Macintosh. How to do that?. See this pictures a. Click on your HDD name.

b. Click the Partition tab

c. Choose your partition layout spaces ( one, two or three partitions. I recommend using one partitions only )

d. Name your new partitions change the format to Mac OS Extended ( Journaled ).


e. Don’t click apply yet. Choose the options tab below the partition layout box. In this options tab you will have to choose your format build table. Choose GUID. GUID.

f. You’re all set. Now click apply button and let the partition process begins.

set, now close your Disk Utility window and you will 11. Disk Utility are set, return to Mac OS Installation windows, click next. And you will be ask to choose where you want to install macintosh. Don’t choose it yet, but click customize button on the left corner below. PS : I can’t give you the picture because i already told you before that i’ve installed mac on my Asus. But don’t worry, just follow what i say : 12. In this tab, you can’t install anything you like because your machine is not a mac. mac. If you’re using Mac, then i won’t recommend you to read this tutorial. But i recommend you to share this tutorial to your friends who are using Asus and they want to feel the taste of Mac.


What do i do with this Costumize Tab? 1. Uncheck all checks when you’re just entering the customize window 2. What you have to install : a. Kernel : Chimera Enabler. Why? because i told you b. Graphics : just check the Graphics Enabler. that your machine is 100% compatible with Mac. And read the description the description of Graphic Enabler “ some some VGA are compatible. Don’t have to check the other checks when you’re checked GraphicsEnabler ”, GraphicsEnabler ”, actually the description is not like that, but the point is exactly like that. Believe me. c. Miscellanous : FakeSMC d. USB 3.0 e. PS/2 Mouse and Keyboard 3. Don’t check the Applications box which located in the bottom of the page. You can determine what you want to install later. 4. You are ready to go!. Exit the costumize tab and choose the HDD where you want to install your Mac OS. Click next, and the process bar will begin. Note : 1. If your process bar are not beginning or still loading for about 5 minutes. Restart your machine and do exactly the same way from beginning. Believe me, when the first time i install this, i’m also facing many kinds of failures. Write down ‘what you have to install ’ materials on your phone or notebooks notebooks because sometimes you will meet failures whenever you’re entering your installation process bar. 5. After the process installation bar finished. You will need to restart your machine. 6. If the screen goes dark for 5 minutes. Then, your machine is successfully installed the Macintosh, and don’t need the Mac OS disc to boot anymore. Release it and restart your machine. And soon the language selections, user registration windows appear.


7. After finish selecting your language selections, user registrations. Then you will entering your Mac OS. Your desktop. And usually if you use Niresh, the desktop will be a face of Mad Hatter in Alice and The Wonderland movies. :) 8. When you’re finish installing your Mac. Remember, the version of Niresh is 10.7.3. If you want to update it, go to this link and download it. Install normally and restart your machine. No problems at all!. http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1525 9. There you go !. You’re now using Macintosh OS on your ASUS A43SJ. Remember to buy a new mac if you’re want a legal one, so you can go abroad without leaving your mac in your home.
