Problem Statement -

How will Engr. Ancheta make his department efficient and effective.

Objectives -

To find a better method of purchasing parts for the repairs. To dispose of the obsolete parts in the storage. To balance the amount of part in the storage.

Alternative Courses of Action -

Engr. Ancheta should devise a better method in buying parts to meet the demands of the growing number of buses in their company. The purchasing of parts is a key part in the maintenance of the buses which is a part of his department. He should also find an efficient way to dispose of the obsolete and excessive parts that are piling up the storage.

Justification of the Chosen Alternative -

I think that devising a good method of purchasing part will make Engr. An cheta’s department more efficient because it will remove the h assle of waiting for part to repair their buses. By doing this Engr. Ancheta will have his department running more smoothly rather than when they wait for the parts and delays the maintenance of the buses. Disposing of the obsolete part in the storage will provide more space to the new parts that are needed by the company.

Recommendations: -

I recommend that Engr. Ancheta should find a stable supplier that can supply the company’s growing need for parts. He should try and sell the obsolete part so that he will lessen the company’s spending for buying new parts.
